Need Opinions!!!
I recently competed, have competed for years. I am 44 now. I am really shreaded. Not big, 5'8" low 170s.The question is. I am planning another show in 3 weeks. I ate for a week, put a few pounds on, and now back on the diet. I have been incredibly lethargic!!! Piss everything out as soon as I drink and get dizzy, spaced out etc. I only use otc pro hormones,eg. epistane/furazadrol. My diet is high carbs, high protein low fats, my job is heavy labor, landscape contractor. I am trying to hold out for this last show, but am worried about my health too. I would appreciate any opinions on what may be wrong.

dizzy and spaced out sound like low blood pressure but sometimes when my bp gets high i get a dizzy spaced out feeling also so the first step would be checking your blood pressure and let us know what is is and we can go from there

I know when I am prepping my bp has gotten as low as 90/58 and I am really light headed and feel pretty shitty. Your isnt quite that low but its still pretty low and could be part of your problem for sure.

10-25-2010, 07:13 PM #5Blood pressure is a two-number measurement of your heart's function. The top number is the systolic pressure, or the pressure of the blood within the vessels as your heart contracts. The bottom, or diastolic, number is the pressure of blood between the heartbeats, or when your heart rests and refills.
The National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute sets the target range at less than 120/80.
120/80 is the given standard for the most part for adults. Your's is not not bad there at all.
if your systolic drops below 100 then is some concerns.
How much carbs are you taking in, maybe getting a little hypoglycemic through out the day?
JUST REREAD AND SAW THAT YOU ARE HIGH CARB
or Water intake?
But if you are truely concerned you should go see your Doc.

Thanks for the input. I have decided to get off the diet. Could be a lot of things, my job is very physical too. I have been dieting for a long while too. I will go see the doc and maybe seek out another show next season when I am feeling better. Maybe my body is just worn out right now.
