Carl Lanore done with OFF TOPIC?!

Here's what I think:

Aaron has risen from a no-name nocturnal internet warrior to an A-List Wingman for Dave Palumbo. From the beginning Carl has made it known that he took Aaron under his wing to develop Off-Topic, neither would exist without each other, true. However, as time has progressed and Off-Topic has gone from being about forum members and forum member it's now more mainstream and reaching into the same pool as HMR and other radio shows.

Now, we all know that Off-Topic has really been low on paying sponsors considering Author dropped their ass quicker than you could blink after Carl and Aaron's extreme fuck-up sometime back with ALR. With this taking place Off-Topic most likely doesn't have the capital to operate without dipping into Carl's pocket, which who isn't in his pocket at this time? Well, with Aaron being on the inside and seeing this I feel he's abandoned Carl and now leached onto Dave Palumbo much like he did to Carl in his early crawling stage.

Considering all things taking place with the powers that be leaving RX it was a perfect time for Dave to bring in another money-hungry stray who would admire him, cue in Aaron Singerman. With Aaron now under the "teaching" of Dave most likely Carl realizes that he will not be able to compete with Dave's elite status and the benefits that Dave can. But hey, that's not Carl's cup of tea and I'm sure he'll say something like, " I'm so happy for Aaron and really hope he succeeds in his goals and doesn't go back on the crack, it's whack".

In conclusion if any of you didn't see this coming you're all out of your damn mind. If you any of you don't think the same thing will happen to Aaron that happened to John you're out of your damn mind, too. Dave is beyond business smart and goes after those who need his name to continue on with their climb in the success later. However, I'm not too sure where Aaron plans to go from here, unless it's to working for a magazine such as Flex or something of that nature.

Carl was pretty much the only reason I still bothered to listen to Off Topic anymore. Looks like you can officially change the name to On Topic, since it's become 90% bodybuilding focused. Once Carl is off the show, I won't be listening to it.

Your pretty much dead on with the first part, and its quite evident in the threads themselves. I remember a few months back after asking for a shoutout and going back into the thread the next day, it would be at page 10, 12 or more. Now it struggles to make 5 pages. They've resorted to forcing GX to post updates about which songs were being played going into and out of a commercial break just to get more traffic into the thread. Its pretty desperate actually.

Right, but you see how much "success" the show has gained with its mainstream approach; it's laughable. The thread post and views don't like, people do not like the newer OFF-Topic/HMR Hybrid. Aaron is now where he wants to be with Dave and Carl is man enough to bow down and move on to what he does best. Honestly, Car Lanore isn't given enough credit.

Wrong, Offtopic radio went to shit when I was gone for 3 months due to my Army BCT stint, then when I returned, the show slowly went to back to normal.
