Fantastic structure-great sweep, great taper and a tiny waist.
Full muscle bellies enhance his taper and make him look alot heavier than 207.
Great work Shelby,he looks on track, should do well. Very impressive novice

Great potential! Can't wait to see how you do.
Slight twist to the core. Is that due to your posing stance?

Exactly my thoughts.
Dunno if its just the pose captured in the rear double bi - if it is, just ignore, if yes, maybe tweak posing to make sure there's good left - right symmetry, particularly across the lats. Aside from that presentation detail, amazing conditioning, size, sweep, taper on a shorter build w/ a THICK weight! AWESOME!
Best of luck at your show!

Looking great and on point. Legs are probably bigger in real life. The camera angle makes 'em look smaller. Could use a little bigger calves. Other than that I would be surprised if he would not be fighting for the win in novice and do very well in the open also. Really great physique!

2x per week at roughly 20 mins a session if just working on the lats. stretching out the fascia in the lower portion of the lats will allow the muscle to fill in the space. seo's can be used this way also during the off season but thats a whole other topic thats often trashed by those who know nothing about them. it can also be dangerous.

HOLY CRAP, I looked and Im like I recognize that guy, who is that.
Dude, Justin, bro, you are doing damn well for yourself, damn son. I remember when I helped you out as a 163 lbs welter for the CIncinnati a few years ago. What was that, 2008? Not that long ago, 40 lbs to your stage weight, damn.
Good Luck man

once again, would like to think everyone for the support and comments.
Joe D - I will post a thread soon about that and see what other variations people recommend and if the repsonse is high enough, i'll scarf up the money somehow to have this done for the improvement. There is a VERY VERY good massage therapist I see in my area, and the rate is $1/minute, so its $40 extra a week
jason - thanks man I really appreciate it. It was good seeing you on stage again at the tricky show a few weeks ago i was in the crowd. And yeah it was 2008 cincinatti where we worked together for a few weeks. I have been out of the game since then. I have had set back after setback after setback. Finally I just said screw it and put everything aside and decided to compete again. I SHOULD have a much better package, but I let other things distract me over the past 2 years and probably costed me several pounds of lean tissue. But i'm back to stay this time! I have actually been doing some training 1-2 days a week with one of your friends, Derek. Been doing good so far
And I'd like to add about the leg size, in Feb of 2009, I started having issues with the right knee. Osgood slaughter(spelling?). I saw a specialist and he said I should stay off it for a few weeks or maybe a month and I would be ok. Me being hard headed, I didn't, and it never really got well and by august/september, I was unable to really train legs at full potential so I stoppd completed, then my lifestyle changed as well I didn't really see myself as a competitor anymore, it was downhill there. After time off the knee, it healed and well I've only been on them since may, and been focused ever since. So I expect big changes once I get a good offseason. I feel the reason for this was I had a big ego on squats, and was slightly bouncing at the bottom which activated the inflammation in the tendons around the knee, NEVER AGAIN is this going to happen.
And the posing, I think alot of it has to do with camera angles, my photographer isn't the greatest, however, I have been focusing on the posing ALOT here lately because its crunch time.
Keep comments, advise and cristism coming. Thanks guys
