All these stories of guys lifting some serious poundages yet at my gym people are impressed if someone is squatting 3 plates for reps. I have never seen anyone squat more than 4 plates, deadlift more than 4 plates or bench anything close to 3 plates. I workout in the early AM so maybe the big boys workout at night, who knows.

A past training partner of mine went on a cycle of eq 400mg/wk, a50 100mg a day, test susp 100mg a day and gained 36lbs in 8wks. And what was impressive is that he had spider viens everywhere, no water hardly at all except in his face! Almost all muscle, responded to aas better than anyone I've ever seen. His incline bench went from 225lbs to 315lbs in that same time. Squat went from 315 to 455lbs, just entirely genetics. He had veins everywhere, his legs looked almost entirely without skin almost, just insane! It came so easy to him he trained fir another 6months or so and never picked up a weight since and looks like he did before he started. Shame he could have went somewhere but just didn't enjoy it. To this day he resounded to a cycle better than anyone I've ever been around, he even ate pretty shitty. A natural mesomorph, everything just went to muscle. 180 to 216lbs at 5'6" was a sight to see!

I did think of something I saw that was cool.I was at a powerlifting meet back in the early 90s and a guy named Craig Young was about to try a 925 squat. He was wrapped up and standing in front of the bar just about ready to get under it and the lights went out in the room. They were out about 30 seconds and everyone panicked and when they came back on Craig was still standing there staring at the bar and he got under it and smoked it like nothing ever happened.

I know I'm gonna get Shit for this, people thinking I am lying but here it goes. At 195lbs I squatted 600 lbs on 3 different occasions, upright rowed 315lbs with straps on and my best cheat curl is 250 for 4 reps. I was in my early 20's when I did these lifts and NATURAL!!!

Why would anyone give you shit for weak ass lifts like that? I did 700 on squats on 21 different occasions, upright rowed 500 with no straps (just talcum powder) and I did 250 for 4 reps and DID NOT CHEAT, strict form to failure... then did 3 more. I also did this at age 19... but I was on a heavy cycle of 15mg clomid, 5 mcg clen, .0025iu hcg, and 20mg prop per week... since I've gotten off the gas... my lifts haven't been even close to this.

3 stories off the top of my head.
1. I'm benching, this is probably my 3rd or 4rth working set w/355 lbs. I'm the only one on any of the four flat benches at my gym. Guy walks in the gym, no warmup, no stretching, asks me if he can hop in. I say sure, despite the confused look on my face as I look around at the other 3 EMPTY benches in confusion. I ask how much weight does he want me to take off so he can start. He says, "no thats ok, I'll start here". I was like WTF. I ask if he needs a spot, he says "no, I'm good". Guy starts, no warmup, no stretching and does 12 reps w/no strain at 355lbs. Mind you the guy is about 5'6" maybe 190lbs.
2. Saw a different guy doing standing military presses, with 3 plates on each side (315lbs) BEHIND HIS BACK easy for 10-12 reps no problem. WTF!!!
3. Alex Federov over 300lbs 3 weeks out of the NY Pro. Then seeing him 2 years later 220lbs retired.
