My personal opinion is that Bob used the term "phased out" to loosely hoping that it would get rid of FBB or cause enough panic amonst us that we would all freak out and run for the hills. actually I found some of his statements to be pretty shitty and degrading in a way, yet some I agreed with in some respect.

Myself I am glad to see Betty has came out with what is going on exactly as well as what we have heard from Steve W. Hopefully we can all go back to being happy little campers.

Lets clarify a few things....I used the wording "phased out" as it represents whats happening at the NPC level, by way of few if any numbers of FBBers showing up to compete. Without a direct pipeline to the pro division via the amateurs....the sport will inevitably die on the vine.

You can view my comments any way you wish, but they represent the truth, which is hard to swallow sometimes.

The WPD literally has NOTHING to do with FBB, as I outlined in my opening statement...it's just another avenue for women who like to compete, and not have to go to the extremes of FBB.

Trust me, if the "powers that be" wanted to consciencely "phase out" FBB, they could have done so a looooong time ago

The truth be told, I actually thought FBB was being done away with, I don't know where I got that from, so I just jumped out in defense of it. Still... I think that a new division is unnecessary. I personally didn't even think Bikini was all that needed, but I'm glad it's here.

There should be more focus on the present divisons before adding new ones. I don't know who Bob is, but whether you agree or disagree with my opinions - know that they are mine.

I'm down for being a happy camper. I have brought some carb-free fruit punch and Supreme Protein bars for everyone to share with each other around the campfire

I would prefer toasted smores or marshmellows at the campfire.

I can totally see the need for a new division, I think it will do well as there are many girls that are lingering in the in between.

Oh, just stop with the charade. You generated the hysteria, got a few laughs, and now it's time to move on to the business of getting more hot bodies onstage.

You know full well that, even though the NPC and its promoters don't 'need' the money brought in by FBB entries and ticket sales, they aren't just going to get rid of that revenue stream.

And because there is net gain at the amateur level, the 'carrot' of IFBB pro status has to be kept in place for them along with the accompanying possibility for an Olympia qualification.

Perhaps you're unaware...but the "revenue stream" has been reduced to a "trickle"...at best

I.E.- all the dangling carrots in the world arent enticing girls to take up FBB...
