Flex Wheeler gym in Tacoma, WA
Last night I visited Stan Efferding's new and Washington states only hardcore gym. Its got more than everything you need and it reminds me of metroflex ( from pics ive seen in the mags and vids ). I will be joining before the official grand opening. Gabe Moen will be training there too, adding more to its hardcore atmoshpere.
Im hoping Flex Wheeler will be there at the grand opening, id like to meet a legend of the sport.

We are excited to have you Good Grip
Welcome ... I will be posting a thread on here very soon. Stan wants to get everything on the outside of the gym finished first. I will be updating it regularly and I will provide up to date training pics and videos of local competitors and local and visiting pros. So stay tuned for the upcoming thread on Flex Wheeler Fitness by way of the RHINO himself.

Where is the gym in Tacoma? I saw an add with an address but lost it. I'm thinking of moving closer just to train in a hardcore place none of them around here.

Could really use one of these in Seattle. The owner of the Gold's on Aurora wants all the BBers out. He's chipping away at us a bit at a time. Folks are actually finding a better climate at L.A. Fitness than at Gold's. It's depressing.

I train at LA right now it's a nice club but their dumbells only go to 125lbs, not a hardcore atmosphere in the least, lots of people training there though. It's suprising so few "old school" gyms around Seattle area. I only know of one in West Seattle. I live in the south end so it's a far commute, and this new gym would be just as far and the traffic is hell .

Now that's a heavy dumbell, it would take me another year at least to get strong enough to press those if ever lol!
