Ugh. After everything that happened yesterday I was surprised to see that kid again today, as he told us all yesterday he was gone for good. WELL...today his story is he won't give them the satisfaction of leaving, that he's here to stay and if they want him gone they'll have to revoke his membership. Much as I'd miss the savage atmosphere without him, he's an accident waiting to happen, he's giving the other lifters in our gym a bad name, and I'm glad the staff is on alert with him. I suspect he'll try to push the envelope once more because he just can't resist, and they'll ask him to leave for good.

Sunday 7/16 lower body training
Kids had a swim meet on yesterday so once again my Saturday training got pushed to Sunday.
Dynamic warmup
Squats:
bar x 5
75 x 5
95 x 5
115 x 5
135 x 3
145 x 3
154 x 3
3 x 160 x 3 - heaviest triples in MONTHS and they moved really well! WOOOOOO!!!!
Sumo deads:
135 x 1
155 x 1
175 x 1
195 x 1
205 x 1
6 x 215 x 1 with 55-65 sec between pulls, and my heaviest deads in MONTHS!
30 min walk
Next weekend I have to miss both Saturday AND Sunday due to swim championships on both days. Toying with the idea of skipping my light lower body day on Thursday and doing heavy squats/deads. Bar left a nifty mark on my back after squats LOL. Looks pretty gnarly up close and personal. Pic is probably a little grainy by the time you zoom in on the right rear delt. Left rear delt is pretty much healed up.

Bench press (competition style pause bottom/top, reset shoulders, repeat):

4 x 124 x 4 - went better than I expected! Heaviest 4s in MONTHS!
stopped there and transferred kids from the pool area to childcare
Wide grip pullups
5 x BW+22.5 x 5 - added another set from last week
Incline DB press ss chest supported DB rows:

Front DB raise ss Reverse DB fly:

Tuesday 7/18 just some squats n deads
All THREE kids in tow today, with the big kid pacing the floor for me to get done. Ugh.
dynamic warmup
Squats:
bar x 5

4 x 150 x 4 - up 6# from the last few weeks. Moved sssssllllllooooowww but that might be because I rushed my warmup
Sumo deads:
135 x 1
155 x 1
175 x 1
195 x 1
8 x 202 x 1 - with 45 sec between pulls. Can't say this felt easy. Had a hard time sitting back. Still got it done but again, I believe it was due to rushing my warmup
Unilateral standing calves:
5 x BW x 5/leg with 5-sec hold at top and 3-sec hold at bottom, no rest between sides/sets

Face pulls:
3 x 70 x 12, pausing the even reps with a hard 1-sec squeeze
Bench press (competition style, pause bottom and top each rep, reset shoulders, repeat):
bar x 5
65 x 5
85 x 5
105 x 5
5 x 115 x 5 - solid! Very happy with these!
Neutral grip pullups:
5 x BW+22.5 x 5 - up another set from last week
Reverse grip bb rows:
4 x 135 x 8
Meadows rows:
4 x +40 x 8/side

Thursday 7/20 lower body training
Kids had their end of summer swim season picnic last night so everyone slept in this morning. Got to the gym about 2 hours behind schedule. Oh well. Still accomplished some work.
Dynamic warmup
Had to wait a loooong time for a squat rack.
DB lying leg curl:
3 x 30 x 10
Squats:
bar x 5
75 x 5
95 x 5
115 x 5
135 x 5
4 x 140 x 5 - would have done 5 but the skin on my back was done with low bar squats lol
Sumo deads:
135 x 1
155 x 1
175 x 1
10 x 188 x 1 - with 30 sec rests. 10# over last week but it wasn't as easy as I had hoped.

3 x 132 x 3 - first set was nice, sets 2 and 3 the last rep was slower than I would have liked. Had planned 4 sets but stopped there so I didn't grind myself into the ground LOL.
3 x 132 x 6 - with SlingShot for some extra volume. All these were solid as I had hoped they would be.
Chins:
5 x +22.5 x 5 - added another set from last week
Close grip bench ss incline DB curl:
85 x 8 ss 20s x 8 (3 rounds)
Close grip up 10# from last week and curls up 5# from last week WOOOO!
Planning a 30 min walk at home after an errand.
I woke up this morning to my phone alarm as usual. Shut off the alarm, got dressed, picked up my phone annnnd.... phone was completely dead. :-( So now that I got the kids settled with their lunch, I'm off to the store to get a new phone and THEN I'll do my walk.
