Chicago Bears Destiny Thread
After many picked the bears to lose to the Vikings and Dolphins, yet pulling out wins of +14 and a 16-0 shut out against miami.
The Bears no carry a record of 7-3 and sit a top the NFC north wit the packers.
Playoffs ? Super Bowl? :-)
Actually, I'm thinking Vick and the boys are looking primed for it.

Who said WIN the super bowl... I said "Super Bowl?" - they will get there... most likely to lose to the Pats.
If I were to pick a team right now, that I thought was going to rep the NFC best in the Super Bowl, I'd probably say the Eagles... Vick is playing out of his mind right now. Bears have a good D - but if their offense is stagnant and handing out turnovers like candy on Halloween ... a good D will just get you an L.

I am a Bears fans but was totally unimpressed by last nights win. We were
facing a 3d string QB and still couldn't crush these guys. In the coming
weeks we face NE, the Jets and Green Bay. We will see what we have then.

Cutler has to cut the ints down if they have any superbowl chance. Id say the giants or falcons, maybe the packers if they get healthy.

We gave up like 30 yards rushing. Zero points. Bears are now number 1 in points allowed. Probably 1 against the run after his weekend.
It was the same thing vs the Viks last week. We had the ball starting on their 40~ yard line for 6 straight drives and got 3 FG and a TD. We should have had 4-5TD's off that. Our offense is lackluster - but if you can score 16-20 points a game and hold your opponent to under 10 - that is all that matters.

Vick will get a big test against the giants, if they win i think they are on their way.

I think the Bears have a good, not great, defense. Its easy to shutdown the run when
you know the opposing teams 3d string QB can't pass.
