Snooki wrote a book? B.S. Who the hell is going to read it anyways, anyone that follows that crowd do not read books. I thought that was silly. I do hope she starts working out seriously, you need it if you are going to party that much

I bet they buy it and have her sign it or buy it just because they love Snooki.

Also...don't forget to watch tomorrow night on MTV at 10/9c for the Season 3 premiere! And no, I will not be watching it

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi stopped by the 'Ellen DeGeneres Show' on Wednesday to talk New Year's Resolutions, demonstrating some of her not-so-rigorous exercises for Ellen while playing with the oversize exercise balls the comedian provided. "These are some big balls," she said with that Snooki charm we know all too well. But the 'Jersey Shore' star says she's committed to getting in shape, hoping to reclaim the body of her high school cheerleader days, a time, she claims, saw her body more ripped than The Situation's.

Known for her partying ways, Ellen couldn't help but ask what, exactly, Snooki was trying to achieve with her workout regimen. "Not health, obviously, because of the drinking," she chided.

"Oh, no, actually I've calmed down on my drinking," said Snooki. "I only drank a lot because it was New Years."

Referring to her ball drop moment (originally she was supposed to descend inside a ball in Times Square, but was relegated -- fittingly -- to the Jersey Shore the last minute), where she sipped on her alcoholic beverage of choice from a red plastic party cup, the guidette cut loose with her 'Shore' castmates for the special night, and fans would have expected nothing less.

Given that it's only been five days since New Years, it's questionable what "calmed down" means in Snooki speak. A bona fide party girl, her crazy ways under the influence have landed her on the wrong side of the law. Remember when she was arrested back in July for disorderly conduct while under the influence? That she was cuffed decked out in a tighter-than-spandex miniskirt and a tank that read "SLUT" makes for an image hard to forget.

But Snooki wanted to be clear with Ellen: She doesn't want young fans to act like her. Much like Taylor Momsen, she claims "I don't want to be a role model." Momsen, who rose to fame by playing Jenny Humphrey on 'Gossip Girl,' is just as famous now for her bad girl ways off set, leading many to believe that little Jenny Humphrey's character has taken over Taylor in a Jekyll and Hyde kind of way. Snooki is famous for, well, being Snooki. The star of a reality show, she's not pretending to be someone else -- she's being herself. Or something very close to herself as it's no surprise anymore that reality shows these days are somewhat scripted. And Snooki's true self, as we've all witnessed, is someone who likes to drink. Excessively.

Even though neither lady wants to be a role model, young viewers who keep up with their antics can't help but be somewhat influenced by their favorite TV personalities. And while the 'Jersey Shore''s draw is its particular wow-factor, with so many fans tuning in to watch what crazy thing Snooki & Co. will do next, it's no secret that people are affected by what they visually consume.

Thankfully, Snooki may be changing her tune. "I want to remember my nights and sometimes I just don't. It sucks," she says. "So you're like, What did I do? How did I end up in a garbage can?"

Naturally, no one wants to end up in a garbage can, especially when millions are judging your every move. So we hope Snooki is able to follow through with her resolution -- though we won't be too surprised if a photo of her, say, passed out in a garbage can surfaces.
