Patriots, Tom Brady frustrated by missed opportunity

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Tom Brady’s fervent outburst captured the Patriots’ sentiment as he realized their fate in a 26-21 loss to the Packers yesterday at Lambeau Field.
Aaron Rodgers zipped one final throw through the narrowest of windows, finding Randall Cobb for 7 yards to convert on third-and-4 to eviscerate the remaining 2:28 and halt the Pats’ impressive seven-game winning streak that victimized five teams that were at least division co-leaders.
But Brady and company found no comfort in what had been done before their voyage to Lambeau. They only harped on what they allowed to slip away, and Brady’s vibrant, profane tirade on the sideline epitomized their emotion in a difficult defeat.
“We really need to turn it up and just realize that every possession and every play is an opportunity,” Brady said. “If you don’t take advantage of it, you never know which play it’s going to be in close games like this that leads to losses. We have to win tough games and find ways to make the important plays when we have them.”
The Patriots (9-3) were a play away from stealing the potential Super Bowl preview and maintained their grasp of the AFC’s top seed, but that offered little in an agitated locker room atmosphere.

It is a long season. They can still turn it around. My lakers have a similar record to the Celtics. The area team Wizards are doing quite well. The DMV needs a winning team.
