    Default HRT and Having Kids

I am considering HRT, but I am 25 and may plan on having kids later on. How hard is it to have kids when on HRT? What would you recommend for a person in my situation? Thanks!

I knew a guy that went on a cycle and thought that he didn't need to use a condom while having sex, well to make a long story short his son is probably 20 years old today. I am currently on TRT. One of the questions my Endo asked me if me and my wife were planning on having more children. She told me that even a low dose Test can reduce sperm count and sperm mobility. Not to confuse you but remember my friend I told you about!!! He had a kid so I don't know what the correct answer would be. IMO if you don't have a low sperm count or any other issues prior to your cycles you should be fine!

i'm 40 years old and been on hrt for 4-5 years or so. My kid just turned 1 last week. Tried to have a kid prior to starting hrt and had no luck. If done properly and correctly w/ an endo's directions having a child shouldn't be an issue.

That's some good info. I remember hearing that an endo can help you once on HRT in order to have kids (ie. prescribe HCG,etc.) so I guess that can help. Thanks

I am in your situation. My HRT doctor told me as long as you you did not have prior issues and take HCG while on HRT, you will be good.
