jewelry
Does anyone know any good websites to get stage jewelry from?
I usually just go to the stores in the mall, like Claire's, but lately haven't found anything.......
Ideas?
I never know how much is to much jewelry to wear on stage....

Good question, Gail! I've been wondering myself as I've typically done the same thing as you. I found a really nice blingy set of bangle bracelets at a booth at the Arnold, but I need earrings.
I looked up swarovski crystal earrings on ebay and there's a bunch of options, so maybe try there?
I've looked on alot of the major suit/shoe sites (SuitsYouSwimWear, Flirt Catalog, Snaz75, etc), but most of them don't have too many jewelry options (at least, not much that I was interested in).
I would love to hear other responses though!Last edited by stephaniewicked; 03-18-2011 at 11:00 AM.

I always feel like I don't need a necklace cause my suit ties around my neck. Thoughts on this?
Is two bracelets to much?

I think the amount of jewelery depends on how much bling the suit already has. I say keep it simple, (unless you have a really plain suit) so you can show off the physique and judges won't be distracted by it, and so the jewelery does not make you lose your symmetry.

I think a bracelet, a ring, and nice earrings is enough. There are these stores out in NorCal that are like "BLING-TASIA" the entire store shines, and its all costumey type stuff. They are a chain store called "So Good" jewelry. I think they might be a California only type store though?

Oooooooh. I'm pysched to check out these sites. To the person who posted Elizabeth Dwelle's site, I LOVE HER STUFF. Very classy. I have my eye on some earrings from there- pricey, but when I see something I want, I get antsy until I have it!!!!! (That's my antsy face! Bahahah!) I was going to check Claire's and those places, seemings as its prom season. I don't have time (or energy, or patience) to go to the mall though. I agree- necklaces are not needed and if anything would be distracting.

And I agree with Christy- don't wear your whole jewelry box. A ring (two is pushing it) a bracelet (I've seen two look good) and a fabulous pair of earrings. I think the earrings and bracelet are most important. If you have short hair, you REALLY need the earrings to fem yourself up. Haha!

I got some blingy bracelets at Claire's (the accessory store) last month. I bought 4 so I can wear two on each wrist... I was also told that Burlington Coat Factory has a decent amount of jewelry, so I might hit that up on my lunchbreak today to see if I could find earrings...
