no, i haven't been over 200 for several months now.
I started my diet and training December 15 2010
at 215lbs @ 23% BF
unfortunately i didn't take any before pics. Trust me I looked like
an entirely different person. no muscle, 38 inch waist.
it was pretty disgusting. i hadn't trained for over 3 years and lived on
fast food and donuts.
even if i had a before pic, no one would believe it anyway.
i was a small, fat guy. i could barley bench 95lbs for 5 reps.
but I'm back now and its time to turn it up a notch!
no more beach body bull shit. I'm going hard core!Last edited by BC123Jm; 07-04-2011 at 01:35 PM.

thanks man. not to sound corny but Bodybuilding saved my life more than once. Yeah i always wonder what i would have looked like today if i wouldn't have quit and got all messed up on drugs and shit.
but you know that's why I'm so excited about it now because they way i look at it i've only been training and dieting consistently for a little over 6 months now, so i cant wait to see my progress in another 6 months and then another.

for sure man, you learn to appreciate things after going through hardships, thats probably why you're so regimented and doing so great now!
Im definitely looking forward to the next 6 months as well, always a great feeling to know that you're working with someone who has your best interests in mind like Scooby, hopefully I can make even close to the improvements you have man, thats amazing!"But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were yet sinners Christ died for us."

Hey bc since your trying to bring up your wheels we can definately talk shop about leg training cuz im in the same boat. however i dont have any major lower back or knee problems so going heavy isnt really an issue. i hired a trainer for legs day only a guy whos been around the block and is oldschool and has really hardcore training methods. ive thrown up a couple times in the past 2 months and i dont get sick easily when training. the gym i train at usually has no ac running and he often makes me rest very little between sets of long heavy workouts. im just trying to ensure that i cover all my bases.

So for all you guys that like to stay at 10%bf and under in the off season, do you just plateu at a certain weight and keep it there? Are you still able to build muscle when your weight is stuck like that?

sometimes we do deloading phases or mini diets and then reap the benefits of the mini rebound and keep growing from there. or some guys just increase calories very slowly so that they dont gain bodyfat. some guys just have really fast metabolisms also.
i dont like to just maintain a certain weight unless a contest diet was nearly approaching and i didnt want to add more bodyfat at that point. i always like to feel like im making progress in some sort of way week to week whether it be getting tighter when dieting or growing when in the offseason.
hope that helps someLast edited by Provo82; 07-04-2011 at 08:58 PM.

yeah dude for sure. you know one of my big draw backs is i train alone and there is like one real BB at my gym that trains regularly and one power lifter.so its tough to even get a decent spot let alone the push to get those extra reps. It would be great if i had a good leg guy to train with.
the best leg work out i ever had in my life is when my friend kenny who is a national level heavy weight put me through a work out. i couldn't walk for two days and was sore for a week
post up your last work out.i'm very interested in what this guy has you doing. another good thing i'm sure is he is right there to correct your form
i would love to do all that mountain dog leg stuff but i don't understand how to do half that shit properly. but i started doing a few things today like the leg extensions and the half rep at the bottom leg curls
i didnt really go that heavy today but i got a great work out and a good stretch. i heard stretching is very important. what do you think?
