body part split
so I am curious to know what you ladie's do as far as your typical training split for lifting. I have been doing the same split for awhile and am looking to mix it up. I need to focus mostly on my upper body, I am trying to add some size to match my lower body. I am not sure if working certain areas twice a week would benefit me at all, also im not a big fan of having back and bis on the same day.I would love anyone's advice. my current split looks like this:
Monday: back width and rear delts
Tuesday: chest and tris
Wednesday: teach kickboxing
Thursday: legs
Friday Back width and bis
Saturday: shoulders
Sunday: rest

Hey Taylor - the pics aren't coming up. Maybe a mod can fix that when they wake up?
Anyway, I usually lift 5-6 days/week in the off-season so I don't have set body parts for set days, but my split usually looks something like:
chest/delts
hams/glutes
back
arms
hams/glutes/quads
I throw in rest days or cardio-only days, 1-2x/week.
I usually hit rear delts on both chest/shoulder and back day with a set of reverse incline dumbbell flyes, and that seems to work for me. Hope that helps!"The gym is one of life's best arenas for building the toughest of men. Ya hopefully someone can fix the pictures! Thank you for all the advice. Im also curious to know How many exercises you all typically do per body part, as well as your thoughts on ab training. Im a classic overtrainer and am afraid doing to many sets and exercises is hurting my progres, atleast for my upper body. I tend to stay within the 6-10 rep range for upper body and do atleast 4 exercises with 5 sets for each body part. Thank you for all the help!!
