Gonna get worse before it gets better. Damn, it never ends. One thing I've learned in my life is that cheaters win! Politicians, businesses, sports, it never ends.

He will get a shot in the NFL based on his physical tools alone. NFL , as much as they will tell you that "character" may play a role in players evaluations, they.could care less when it comes to kids taking money or things like that. Only issues they actually weigh are drug issues and legal, breaking law issues. If it comes out that pryor accepted 100 million.dollars, they could.care less. He will get looks but personally I don't believe he has the skills.

That's the take-home point right there. He doesn't.
He is allegedly 6-6, though, and the fact that he's fast does give him some potential value. He has the opportunity to go play in Winnipeg and earn himself a comfortable living playing football. If he matures and learns the game, he might someday be able to get to the NFL.
Regarding the stuff at Ohio State, student-athletes *should* be able to use their celebrity to every LEGAL advantage possible. The exceptions would be classroom-related - no grades/degrees shall be given which haven't been properly earned. Other than that, they should be able to do what they want, period.

I agree. The schools make millions selling the player's jerseys and shirts, but the athlete's themselves see none of that. If they want to sell memorabilia that they earned being part of a team, then that's their choice.
The NCAA could have prevented those players from participating in the Bowl Game this year, but if they don't play, then no one watches, and they loose money on ratings. It's all about money and the only people not making any are the athletes.

Kind of messed up that these kids are put in a situation like this, but Pryor made upwards of 40 g's doing this. I 've got no problem w/ an athlete getting paid to a degree but in the same token , if a kid comes out early i'd have no problem making him payback what education dollars were spent on him as well if he attended a public unniversity. It kills me to see nitwits like Kenny Britt whom i happen to know well enough to know that this kid never should have have been accepted to any 4 -year school.
