Low calorie sweets?
After every meal I crave sweets, what are your suggestions for low calorie candy, if they exist?

Depends on if you're in competition prep or not. If it matters & you have a deadline on your prep, then don't even go there. You either do it or don't bother. Diet soda is about as much as I can handle.
If you're on that tight of a schedule, then I'd lean more towards real food - like frozen berries on tofu or soemthing like that. I find grapes are like crack to me. You have to be careful when you go looking for "low cal" or "sugar free" candy because most of it, e.g. the diabetic stuff, have that crap in it that gives you the grizzles if you eat too much of it. I'd also say its also better to leverage the idea of a 'once per week cheat meal" to handle the snack issue.

In the offseason I keep sugar free hard candy in my classroom. I talk all day and my mouth gets super dry. I can't drink a load of water cause I can only pee at certain times of the day. It also helps when I get a sweet tooth....

Have you seen PowerChews (www.powerchews.com)? They're candies like sweet tarts made with Xylitol, so no insulin response and low cal, and they also come with different supplements (BCAA, Glutamine, Creatine, Pre Workout). I've tried their BCAA, they taste good and they definitely help curb my sweet tooth (my biggest weakness). The other nice thing is they're very portable.
