    Yeah bro, just stick to one moderate sized carb meal a week on the keto diet for now until you get leaner

    1 scoop whey isolate

    Hey Folks, long time lurker here and need some help....Been doing keto for about 11 weeks and saw fat loss come to a halt, so I started pro/veg 2 weeks ago, I look like crap but feel fine. Trouble is fat loss came to a halt again, although I'm coming off a 2 week clen run, so thats prolly a factor.
    I'm wondering if I should cycle the pro/veg days while I run clen and do pro/fat during the 2 weeks off clen.
    My cardio is already at 2 hrs a day/liss and unfortunatley I think I've run out of options but not where I want to be bodyfat wise. I can't run yohimbe due to nasty sides either. Also I'm 45yo so I'm sure that works against me too.
    Any help would be greatly appriciated, thanks in advance

    I am glad this thread is still here..The threads on MD with Dave back in the day used the be awesome and of course Joe/Myth and few others were always just pure education.

    So my question for the the now slow thread:

    When on a keto what is the best accepted lifting practices.
    Not looking for someone to build me a workout just looking for what worked for others.

    Ex. Obviously the 10x10 method would not be smart

    I would do all together most meals a Protien, fat and veggie, no reason to split them up. You need a steady stream of fats and veggies never hurt. 2 hrs a day is too much. Listen to some of Layne Nortons stuff he talks about excatly what your going through. Good Luck

    I believe the most excepted method is HIT style low reps low sets high intensity. Everyone is different. I myself have done both HIT and volume with good success.

    I would keep it set all the same till your body gets used to it then adjust from there keep track of #s weight and mirror. Nothing happens right away especially as we get older. Good fats are a good thing. Consistency is key to keep track.

    I apologize if this has been covered before but I have a few questions I hope someone wouldn't mind answering a few questions. Ive done keto diets before for bodybuilding and always had great results, and more than that, I always felt really good. I want to shift my offseason diet to a higher calorie version of my contest diet..So these are my questions

    Right now my bw is 196 dry...I can post up some recent pics if need be.

    I train very late at night and my PWO meal is my last meal of the day...Can I use a moderate protein (240g) higher fat (100g or more) diet during the day and include carbs only PWO without stalling muscle gains?


    Or...would it be more effective to keep carbs in my pre and post meals but eliminating them the in my other 5 meals?...I eat 7 meals a day


    Or...Can I do a high cal keto diet during the week (240g Pro and 100g or more fat) and have a reefed meal or reefed day every 7-10 days?
