Nah that's fine for a cheat meal. It's a good starting point. It's not too big of a cheat. This way you can see how it affects you in the week to come and if your still loosing weight increase the size of the cheat meal if you want.

Having a cheat meal on day 11 compared to day 14 is going to have that much of an effect on him. 14 days is just the norm for the rotation. So you start a diet on say sunday and 2 sundays later you get to have your cheat meal. It usually only takes most people 3-4 days to get into ketosis. After 11 days he should already be in ketosis and this meal is gona restock his glycogen suppy. Training is also a factor. Some people need to wait 14 days because they do not burn up all their glycogen stores while others can do it in 10 days because of their training intensity.

I agree with Frizzy. If you read up on ketogenic diets and the adjustments that take place in the body, you would know that the body is adapting full on for weeks in. As minimal as this issue is in the long run, at least offer some factual reasoning behind your advice. Alex, you seem like a nice guy, but I thought this was Frosty's area of expertise. You're jumpin to answer ?'s which is awesome, but maybe you should make sure you are comfortable/knowledgable in this area before you give tips. It's not knowing yourself, or your own diet, it's application of physiological knowledge that means something. And that varies from person to person, and is based on more than personal experience. No disrespect meant by the way.

Day four was when my headaches stopped. Haven't had a problem since and actually feel BETTER than I did when I was taking in carbs.
