Ok fair enough, what would you recommend for one of my meals
200g of beef mince with 1 cup of lettuce, i need something to spice the beef up without interfering with the diet, all pasta sauces seem to contain sugar and carbs.
You got any suggestions dude?
Also, in the gym no matter how much water i drink now my mouth is dry as hell

I'm no expert, I can't help with the dry mouth, but don't be afraid to take in more fat than is recommended. You will still lose fat. It has worked for me and my friends.
Eventually you will may need to tighten it up though depending on your goals.
Just watch those damn carbs.CutlerAthletics.com

Honestly, I don't think you've reached ketosis yet. These are all the symptoms of your brain switching over from using carbs to ketones for energy. You will feel like crap UNTIL your brain has completely switched over. Once you're in ketosis, you will feel more energized, less sleepy, not thirsty. It took me about 7 days or so to stop feeling crappy (and that was my first time around).
Agreed, you are doing to much cardio to begin - when your fat loss slows, you will have to increase it, so it's best to start off slowly.
Regarding spicing up your beef/chicken: Try Franks Red Hot sauce. No carbs and negligible fat - just don't pile it on. Just a few drops is good.

Should i limit it to half an hour a day with the cardio?
I saw some organic pasta sauce at the supermarket but that contained a small amount of sugar and carbs.
Would it be fine to add a very small portion of it to the mince while cooking it?
I never saw any Franks hot sauce while i was there

I just try to keep my carbs under 5 per meal....Right now I am eating a mix of ground buffalo and ground turkey spiced with garlic salt, Tony chacheries Cajun spice, dehydrated onion....then I top it off with about a tablespoon of some organic Habenero and lime salsa I found at Albertson's. Drinking mac nut oil for my fat.
I am only getting ~2g carbs, and that is from the salsa. This is a very tastey meal.

I would start off with maybe 30 minutes of cardio a day, and then once your fat loss slows, you can increase. In the first couple of weeks, I would go by how you feel. Once you've reached ketosis, cardio won't be as difficult.
Also, I would personally stay away from all pasta sauces - tomatoes have a lot of sugar in them and you don't need it. Try experimenting with spices.

I started Dave's diet over the weekend so as to avoid any impact on work. Started Friday and I'm still a little weak and light headed. Sat and Sun I felt like i had the flu and did not want to move at all, but I'm past that.
Feeling like crap is not the hardest part of this diet though...It's into having my muscles full! Ugh! I know it's because they are merely depleted and I've dropped ~10lbs of water, but it's nice having them feel big. However, it will be nicer to reduce the fat above them lol.

Just gonna post this for those that are researching the "Keto Diet" there are two.
1. Dave Palumbo Diet is 60% protein, 30% fat, 10% Carbs.
2. Keto Diet is 65%Fat/30% Protein, 5% carbs.

I don't think those ratio's are suppose to be in stone...I just opt for .25g/lbm for protein and .10g/lbm for fat and have no direct carb source. Sometimes I get a few residual carbs from nuts or peanut butter. But most days I am less then 10g total carbs, which is more like 1-2% total caloric intake.
Not that calories really matter anyway.
