In daves diet he says to not have a cheat meal for the first 2 weeks, does everyone wait that long?

Yeah im going to wait, I want to follow the diet as close as possible!
What did everyone use to cook their meat? As in fried? Grilled? With oil?
one thing the diet doesnt specify is exactly how many carbs should be consumed ina cheat meal?

I'm into wk 3 of keto and I had my first cheat meal last Saturday night.
Only got through 1 cup of oats with milk and was so full i couldn't eat anything else.
Now hitting wednesday and my energy levels are lower than usual.
Anyone else had trouble eating sufficient cheat meal carbs also?
Is it possible to get not enough glycogen intake?

oats are not a cheat meal. you need dirty, processed type foods to spark the metabolism. next time have some pizza or a burger and fries.
the idea behind the cheat is not to replace and store glycogen if you want that then you need to carb up. cheat meal releases hormones which fire back up the metabolism. there is a difference.
