Found this thread really helpful but still have a a few Q's. Just started a Keto diet (6 days in). My protein and healthy fat intake is good and I've kept my carb below 20g most days. My question is if I make my own fried fish and use flour and make sure it's less that 15g of carbs (on a normal day not a refeed day) would that be ok?

weight is 329lbs last time i competed was 2009 i weighed 218..... i gained lot of fat and muscle but i am not sloppy i am looking to compete early 2013.... i did keto the first time... just wondering where to start now... i want to start prepping asap for lets say an april show.. i assume my lbm is 240-250.. help set up a plan please

ok all friends finally figured white guys do best on keto for staying lean....
there all ripped now im ready to fully try it....
whats the word on PB and almond butter? how much can i have and are all carbs coming from veggies?
my friends are doing some carbs from fruit and staying under 55 grams carbs a dayNot on a Keto diet

By definition, a true ketogenic diet is one that is 100g carbs per day or lower. However, as carbs come closer to the 100g mark, urinary ketones will not be apparent on keto stix. I'd say 50g carb or less to get into deep keto.

ya all my friends who are on it are like 8% bodyfat or less and making gains while staying lean and eating high cals where normally they would get fat on carbs

Wow that is awesome post about keto. Here i can guess what type of body is suitable for me. Now i am 6ft and have weight of 211 Lbs.

Hey folks,
New to this board, but glad to be here. I'm taking a run at Dave's keto diet. I tend to do better with low/no carbs. I tried to do alot of reading to avoid the newbie type questions, but I still have a few.
I'm taking an Omega3-6-9 supp @ 8caps/day do I still need the Evening Primose?
I hate the taste of the Fiberlyze, can I use a regular fiber tablet 3x's/day instead?
Will I be ok running t3/clen on this diet?
Stats are as follows
44yo
5'6 and 180lbs
at least 18% bodyfat/no visible abs, just a gut.
supplimenting with 500mgs/cyp a week

Also....My Dr. doesn't want me taking in any type of salt, as I have bp issues, and a few bouts with kidney stones, and I've read salt is a good thing on this diet. Should I try some type of sodium supplement?

Hi Guys I av 1 week left m competing. This sat. And was using Keto Diet when Carbing up shud I stop with Peanut butter, Nuts and whey protein don't knw what to do. Some guys say I shud have stop long ago pls help
.......And also with regards to dierutic which 1 1 is better I got Aldectone and Aldazide and when shud I start taking the @ what dosase in particular order.

I'm having trouble finding a low carb peanut butter that would be great on keto. I'm using Adam's natural pb right now (6g carbs for 2tbs). That's not to bad imo.
