    Myth, can you tell me real quick what all you put in "Myth's Malts"? LOL! Seriously, just curious for taste purposes, you dont have to list out measurements and all, just the stuff you like to put together.

    myth, is the reason why you choose high gi foods over low gi is because its easier to get more carbs in? (i.e. trying to get 300g CHO from oats vs 300g CHO from waffles, candy ect.?)

    Yeah, not to mention good luck on eating 300g carbs from oats. That's 13 cups cooked and a whopping 50g of fiber. My guess is you'll be a LITTLE uncomfortable from that

    High insulin is a desirable thing on carb refeedings. There are metabolic advantages to high insulin levels during this time. Low GI meals like oats are more suitable for the very fat since they just have terrible insulin control and glucose uptake.

    How does this looks for a refeed day
    1st meal 2 whole eggs and 3 egg whites
    2 cups cheerios with 1 cup fat free milk

    2nd Meal
    2 toasted slices of whole wheat bread with nutella or pb and jelly
    2 scoops whey

    3rd Meal
    1 sandwich of salmon, whole wheat bread, philadelphia cheese
    1 salad

    4th Meal
    2 Small Home Made Brownies
    1 Home made hamburguer

    5th Meal
    2 cereal bars

    6th Meal
    2 scoops Whey
    2 small pancakes

    ok, but i dont get why people take GDA's on re-feed days though. doesnt GDA's lower your insulin so when you take in your carbs it wont get that high of an insulin spike? my guess is to shuttle glycogen more efficiently to your muscles?

    BTW, i take 200mcg chromium poly and 20mg vanadyl before my 1 refeed meal. Mabey i should just stop taking them and spike my insulin?

    For the same amount of carbs, IF, and I repeat, IF the GDAs are doing what they are supposedly doing, they would reduce the insulin response. However you could then theoretically eat MORE carbs and get the same insulin response as less carbs.

    Some guys are really into the supercompensation loading. This can have some benefit, but in my opinion, not when cutting. GDAs would allow you to shuttle more nutrients into muscle tissue.

    But when it comes down to it, if you do one cheat meal and use chrom/van before the meal, I seriously doubt you'd see any significant difference. If you want to, go for it, but really it's not needed. If someone's glucose tolerance is that shitty that he thinks he really needs them, then he just has to suck it up and eat a smaller, healthier carb meal until he gets his glucose tolerance in better shape.

    Better to start low and increase IF needed. Always my preferred method. Try it with lower amounts, note results. If it's superior to a single meal in terms of the RESULTS, then use it. If it's inferior with respect to results, go back to a single meal! Now if the whole day yields superior results to a single meal, you could try more just for sake of experimentation, and if that works better again in terms of results, use it. If not, go back to what worked better. Never ever jump randomly around or go from one extreme to another. Bad testing methodology.
