i definitely think it would be best for you to bring your meals with you to work, but if youre in a bind...
you could always do Wendy grilled chicken sandwich without the bun and mayo, a side salad and dry baked potato
Tammy, Gail, and Sassy will definitely be able to give you some good answers!"But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were yet sinners Christ died for us."

I rather avoided all fast foods now being in USA as I am still in precontest mode, but in Europe sometimes when I was behind my schedule I ate KFC grilled chicken salad (Brazer) without the topping, which was served apart, so was easy to throw it away..... Same as grilled chicken salad/wrap in McD or when I had cravings and was not in so heavy diet I ate cheeseburgers in McD - but only the inside part as there is only a meat, cheese and ketchup - no mayonase, and I trew away buns! I am not sure if same opportunities are here in US.

I eat salads out all the time... Just request it without croutons (if it comes with them) and dressing on the side. Sometimes I'll request extra grilled chicken too since some places don't give enough protein.
Another thing I do is bring my own protein and just order a plain salad with balsamic on the side. I did this twice recently when I went to Hooters on a Saturday night with friends. I made my own tilapia at home and put it in a ziploc, then I ordered a plain side salad, topped with my tilapia and voila... cheap/healthy meal at an otherwise "fast food" restaurant.
If I go to a diner or order eggs somewhere, I always ask them to make my order on a dry grill, or tell them "no butter, no oil", etc... there are ways to make eating out less bad for you.Last edited by stephaniewicked; 08-10-2011 at 07:53 AM.

I'd stay away from your typical fast food joints as much as you can. I don't think I've eaten at a KFC, Sonic, Wendy's or McDonalds in over 5 years.
Like Stephanie said, you can allways bring some of your own food with you. Cold grilled chicke, tuna packets, etc... I've done this before even at work when we have an executive lunch or dinner. Another option for work is to eat your meal before you go out. When you get to the restuarant just order a plain salad and get dressing on the side.
If you're in a pinch running into a supermarket can really help. You can buy a bag of raw veggies and run up to the deli counter. The usually have regular chicken in addition to the cold cuts. If you luck out you may even be able to find a market with a salad bar.

Not sure where you live but Chic-fil-a has char-grilled chicken sandwiches. I usually get two chicken sandwiches, remove and throw away the buns and get a side salad to have with the chicken. They also have grilled chicken salads and the chicken for the salads and chicken sandwiches are real breasts, none of that pressed, processed crap.
I usually always bring my meals but that is a good emergency back up if i get in some kind of a bind.

A few places in larger cities offer brown rice. Ask to see if it's available.
Sometimes in larger cities there will be businesses in the near vicinity of major gym locations that offer what you want.
For example there's a teriyaki f/f place in Austin called Samurai Sam's that is near a Gold's Gym. They literally have BB'r pics on the wall. Of course they have brown rice!
Try some of the Vietnamese places - not exactly fast food but might be nutritionally "correct" if you get grilled or curried dishes.
