So, I knocked the dust off the journal on Friday with a full body machine workout and did basically the same workout on Monday.

Machines, Life Fitness except skipped their bench machine and did a Hammer bench machine instead as there was someone using the Life Fitness piece of equipment.

Took part in a Gold's Gym challenge. Dropped about 15 lbs. over 12 weeks primarily through diet.

Have been out of the gym for a long time. Lots of excuses. Lots of atrophy.

But I don't give a ####. It's about improvement. I've been out of the gym for some time. A small portion of that time was chalked up to health issues (benign tumor removed from my neck in January), but most of it was simple laziness.

4/23, 8:25 p.m. -- 9:05 p.m.

Seated leg press 150x20, 230x20
Calf extension 130x20, 270x15
Seated leg curl 70x20, 90x15
Chest press 70x15, 90x8
Row 70x15, 90x12
Triceps press 70x20, 110x8
Lateral raise 30x10, 7
Should press 30x12, 13, 2
Pulldown 70x15, 90x10
Biceps curl 50x15, 10
Leg extension 70x15, 90x8

Yup. Amazingly weak. On the plus side, I'm easily amused and also maintain a large portion of my teenager mentality. Got my first weight set at age 15. First can of Animal Pak in 1988 (age 25).


That aforementioned teenager was pretty happy when he opened this can and found an Animal wrist band in it. lol

Can remember drinking raw eggs after watching Rocky do the same on the big screen in 1976.



Proud IronMagLabs rep now and looking forward to trying out Deca-Drol Max after terrorizing the selectorized machines (cough) at my local Gold's for a few months.
