    I'm only at 1,257 calories today. -_-

    Did 30 minutes of LISS treadmill 3.0 speed 3.0 incline after my workout plus ten minutes HydroMassage bed before my workout. And multiple rounds of the massage chair before and after and twenty minutes of Hydro Massage after.

    (I'm going to REALLY miss all this free time when school begins.)

    I'm convinced PF would lock the doors as soon as they saw me pull up in the parking lot, and not even let me train OR offer me the chance at a membership. Maybe it's the striated delts and veiny arms or maybe it's the scabbed up shins.

    I happen to like my striated delts and veiny arms AND the scabbed up shins.

    I go in the evenings. I've never seen pizza or bagels but I have a Tootsie Roll (or three) every time I visit. lol

    Smith machines, yes, and lots of cardio options.

    PF versus my local Gold's? Bigger staff, cleaner facility, members who actually wipe down their machines or benches and return the weights to the racks. Well lit, clean bathroom, massage chairs, and DAT HYROMASSAGE BED! <3

    Gold's is my home, but PF is a 24-hour facility that is always clean and has plenty of weights for me to train arms, delts, chest, and back. Hell, who am I kidding, I can get a great leg workout there, too. But I'm not squatting 315 or 405 like you. ;-)

    It's a building with dumbbells and people in it. I don't see a problem with it. At all.

    Definitely not a gym for super strong bodybuilders or power lifters. But I haven't heard the lunk alarm go off once. Lots of high school kids there but also a mixed group of ages, too.

    having DB's to 50's does not do much.
    There is a reason it is 10$ a month because of limited equipment, most gym trainees will go in there to walk on a treadmill and then go to mcdonalds or indulge in the free food they offer because they think they are being productive with getting forms of exercise.

    Just as bad when I worked at IUP and people would walk on the treadmill for 20 minutes and then go smoke outside or go to Chick Fil A across the gym

    Smith Machines place more stress on your knees and low back due to compression and being on a fixed plane. They also take out all core work in a squat or deadlift when on a smith machine.

    Again not a gym for all trainees, but for someone who just wants to get some exercise its great.

    And, fwiw, Gold's and PF are both $20/m. Sure, you can do a ten-dollar membership, but for twenty at Gold's you get ONE gym membership. At PF? You get membership at multiple gyms across the U.S., 24/7 access, free tanning, $1 drinks, etc.

    Plenty of people go to Gold's and smoke and eat at McDonald's too, though, right? Bad health habits are not exclusive to PF members.

    Golds is also good for any gold's gym.
    I know I can train in pittsburgh, buffalo, cleveland all with the same gold's pass and it works perfectly fine. Even used it when I went to Florida, Vegas, and Colorado.
