The older my kids get, the more trouble I have winding down at the end of the night.
Tuesday night I did...
a 3-hour trek in heavy traffic to retrieve my 9th grader from swim practice (just 10 miles away)
reading/spelling practice and addition with my kindergartner
math word problems and spelling word sentences with my second grader
cooked taco dinner for 4 (cooked mine earlier in the day)
took 2 little ones to swim team practice and ate my cold Meal 5 poolside
bathed little ones and did more reading practice before putting them to bed
cleaned up the kitchen since the hubby was passed out cold as usual
cooked MY meal 6
taught quadratic equations to my 9th grader (teacher went into labor, long term sub sux)
finally got to eat my meal 6 - cold, but in peace and quiet
still had kindergarten math and quadratic equations swimming through my head at midnight.
wide awake at 1 am, had to get up at 5:30
minus the 3-hour trek (usually takes 45 min) that is an average day for me. Ever since this school year started with all three kids in school I have an awful time falling asleep. Just 3 more years and the oldest one is in college. Should get easier with just two of them.Last edited by Sunnyday; 02-26-2015 at 11:16 AM.

I don't know. Nothing serious, but still not right.
Had a 315 single. Good form. Felt strong. That was just recently. Then I was working with 225 for a set and oof, just a tweak. Trip to the chiropractor, thought I was 100%. Doing a set of eight (I thought) with 185 as a warm-up prior to doing 220 for 3 sets of 10-12 (70% of my 315) and the fourth rep another oof. Pulled or tweaked my lower back again.
Not happy. lol Oh, well. I do love my chiropractor.

Same thing happened to me
warming up on rack deadlifts with 135 and my back went out

I did! Had an appointment scheduled for March 19. Dr. Brian told me to keep my appt for that date and gave me today's session no charge. Nice!
