Maintaining, I guess. Went from 200 to 185.

    (steps off scale)

    189 right now.

Stopped keto, what, at least a month now. Still eating mostly grilled chicken beasts with chili powder and olive oil. Added in pancakes, a short stack. And also rice. Those rice/veggie steam-in-5-minutes deals?

all you eat is chicken and olive oil? ouch.
no beef, eggs, turkey, yogurts, cottage cheese or anything along those lines?
Try to get some potatoes in your diet as well (Veggies + Fruits especially) for micronutrients, potassium (key for sodium/potassium balance in potatoes)

rice/veggie steam deals? you buy frozen and pre-packaged food? may as well just cook it, much cheaper and can cook in bulk.

    Bob!

    lol

Of course, I eat all that. What, you thought I was going type out my entire menu or give you a food journal response? haHA

Seriously, man, did you miss the mostly in "Still eating mostly grilled chicken beasts with chili powder and olive oil"?

And, get this, brother. I am not going to work out at 4 a.m. I am going to enjoy my "rice/veggie steam deals."

How's life? Will you be substituting this year? What was the micro/macro/gluten breakdown of the food you ingested in the past 24-hour period? ;-)

mostly is a vague term. pretty black and white, and you have never posted what you do eat, so we are clueless to know

And, get this, brother. I am not going to work out at 4 a.m. I am going to enjoy my "rice/veggie steam deals."

neither am i, i train at multiple times of the day depending on my work schedule, sometimes 6 at night, sometimes 2 pm, sometimes early. actually going to lift right now

Hey, even when I was full-on keto (which I love), I'd hit my cheat meal like a demon.

Recent short stack of blueberry pancakes...

    Nice pancakes, Bob!

No food porn on MY training journal, Mac!

Diet needs to fit the lifestyle AND personality of the individual. Otherwise the individual won't sick with it for long. If keto works AND you enjoy it Curt, go with it. Your pancakes looked good, too. Even if they were just a short stack. LOL.

I don't keto. Or carb cycle. And I found out in the last year that I can't change up my diet for training/non-training days. My day to day life is just too unpredictable...never know for sure whether I'll have a full training day until the training day is over.
