    Last night I did machine bench presses, machine rows, pull downs, leg presses, Arnold presses, and dumbbell flyes. All exercises were pyramid style... 30, 20, 15, 12, 10. Or about that. Except the Arnold presses. Screwed rotator equals maybe 15, 12, 12.

    Still maintaining a 500 calorie daily surplus (2,840 now versus 1,480 while I was cutting), but am heavy on the carbs. Broke out the crock pot and prepped four chicken breasts.

    Pyramiding sets of bench (machine press), pulldowns, machine rows, and leg press every workout. Have subbed Arnold presses for seated machine delt presses, and did cable curls and cable overhead triceps presses for arms last night.

    Bumped calories to 3,240/day and still stuck at 183. grrr

    We’ll see what the scale says this week.

    20, 15, 12 pyramid on chest press, machine rows, and pulldowns, Arnold presses—sets of 10 with 15s, 17.5s, 20s, 22.5s, 25s, and 30s, pyramid on leg press to 4 plates each side plus a quarter. Aaaannnd some cable curls and pushdowns.

    In maybe related news, this bar advertises 30 g of protein and 27 g carbohydrates. Most of the other so-called protein bars have more carbs than protein and this one is just about equal. I’m thinking I wasted my money buying this thing. I got two and it actually tasted pretty good.

    Pyramiding my reps over 4 to 5 sets per exercise — 20, 15, 12, 10, 10, with the occasional drop set (half the weight or so of my heaviest set) for a pump set of 20 to 30 reps.

    Put up 5 plates on the leg press and my knees were screaming the day or so afterwards.

    Right rotator is trashed, so limited especially on my overhead presses. Rows and pulldowns are a good thing, still able to move some nice weight there.

    Thinking of swapping my MWF full body workout for a two days upper body/two days lower body routine.

    I switched to an upper/lower split a couple years ago and I love it!
