Skip,
I used to be your client and I can said I had the best result with you.....Did you chage your diet style, skiploading in the last two years or so?

The skipload continues to evolve, yes. It is still the same basic principles but changes have been made that have made it even better than it was, yes.
I believe in any type of diet that provides the results that a client needs. I don't particular care for the very low carb or keto diets but when it is needed, it is used. I prefer as many carbs as you can get in your diet and still get lean.

It will almost certainly be available by the last week of August. Everything is on track at this point.
Shows here in Colorado or national level shows like USAs, etc.? I MAY be at the USAs but at this point it is still up in the air. I will be at the Colorado State in 2 weeks, though, for sure.

There comes a point where the cost to benefit of cardio gets lost or the return on your "investment" isn't worth it. Example: 30 minutes of cardio can amp your metabolism and yet not beat your body up and tap recovery and energy too much. As you get up over an hour a day or even closer to an hour a day for some people, the "per minute" pay off becomes less. The last 30 minutes aren't anywhere near as effective as the first 30 minutes. It is almost as if you need 5 minutes of cardio after 60 minutes to get the safe effect from 1 minute below 30 minutes. Does that make sense?
I would much rather have someone eat less and do less cardio than to do more cardio. Use your diet as the primary tool to get lean and then use the cardio as a tool to help the diet - much like you would use a fat burner instead of relying on the fat burner to get you lean. Dig?

I bet you found the same thing with the cardio? It is hard to give up the things we think are so vitally important or that we feel "have" to be done but .... NOTHING "needs" to be done other than what works and what is beneficial to getting us tighter and leaner. More people need to challenge what is supposed to be written in stone.

lol
Yes, the head game can be a bitch but, ultimately, the only thing that matters is what you look like, not how you get there.

You've said you prefer to keep as many carbs in the diet as possible when dieting down, but you will do keto if warranted. How do you make that determination? Is it a matter of trying a moderate amount of carbs and seeing how the client responds, and gradually lowering as necessary until the diet is basically carb-free?
Or are there clues you look for from the start that indicate certain people are better suited to keto?
Suppose a client told you that he has tried both moderate carbs and keto and leaned out well with both , but he feels much less hungry on keto AND he notes that he can drop in one day from 300 grams CHO/daily to >30 grams CHO daily and feels just fine. Would that suggest to you that he is more suited to keto?
Thanks, and looking forward to your DVD!
