Thread: Downsizing

I need to dig up one of the pix from my first show - I think I can recover that basic shape. I've picked up most of my mass in my upper body and that's what needs to come down. The other challenge is (and always has been) my rear end, the age-related shift of flab collection to the lower back and just getting shit tight.
For me, there's no down-side to downsizing. Competition just gives me a kick in the pants to actually complete a dramatic change, instead of just being an aging, squishy ex-bodybuilder. The only thing I know I'm going to miss is being able to stand in the "eliteness" of those athletes as we envision the term "competitive bodybuilder" (and NOT the schmoe or negative connotation of it). Its cool to be hard-core. Once you've been hard-core, its hard to be anything less.

I think in WP there should be mainly the softer look. And many lightweights I see are not too huge, but too hard for me - plus off course the more ripped you are - the bigger you look on stage. Illusion.
Anyway when they want Coreys look - or any other FBB of the past - they were also NOT all Y structure. They were crazy X shape sometimes... so this kind of look should be rewarded too... Actually my vision is THIS - this is for me the ultimate women shape which I really like....And how I SEE IDEAL WP shape and conditioning....
Because I think nowadays this kind of physique is not rewarded anywhere... for FBB this is too small and MAINLY soft, anyway for Figure it has big lower body - big legs... so what else it is, than the WP look....ProNutriFit.com - personal online training and nutrition

I am AFFRAID that - yes...
the reason I am affraid is, that I am interested in this class myself - anyway I do NOT want to downsize that much as I see other grils do ... But ... so... where should a girl like ME to go when not to WP than???.... Tell me (I am talking to all of you) the class as I really dont know.
I am too small in upper body for a FBB and too soft (softness is something I can not get over as I can not afford to be harder due to sluggish thyroid -and I do not want to do "some" things to change it)
I am too soft also for Figure in NABBA - which was for years somewhere between and I competed there therefore.... But last two years they made it superhard and superlean....Plus this year judges moved me to FBB instead Figure too.
I am too huge overally in a bone structure for Figure in IFBB.......I always was.
Momentally I decided to take a break, keep what I love and do not compete anywhere....BTW: I added few comparisons from this year from FBB classes I did this year to see what physique I am talking about (as people always says to me I look way bigger on single shots than in real...)ProNutriFit.com - personal online training and nutrition

I think your conditioning looks fine for WP. I LOVE your legs but I'll bet they're too big for WP.

Thanks for opinions....
Yes, legs are the only part I am willing to downsize a bit...anyway will be hard as I am really gifted there - so I train them now very easily and I hope also cardio will downsize them a bit.... shape will stay off course...
Thanks - I placed 5th on Worldchampionship (of 11 - what was not bad, but all those really big girls were ahead of me) on Universe (green suit - I placed ahead of the master competitor and the one in the pink, but the girl in red won over me - judges told me it was because of the hardness...)
I wanna give a try to WP one day when I will be ready... I think sassy said it very well: .....BEFORE muscle thickness & fullness starts moving from a long, lean look to a thick look. - and all types judges placed ahead of me in FBB were really thick and hard... I was lean, but not thickProNutriFit.com - personal online training and nutrition
