Post First Show Advice?
So, it has been about 2 1/2 weeks since my first show, ever. Now, I'm trying to reflect back on my prep time & show day and decide where to go from here and what to change. Have a few questions for all you more "seasoned" athletes out there..
1). How does your diet change from in season to off season?
2). I trained my entire 19 weeks using daily cardio (2x on lifting days) & a full body circuit 3-4x a week as well. However, I see most other bikini girls doing splits of different body parts? Should I switch to doing that?
3). Any information about carb cycling would be great too. Every competitor I have seen that uses this method looks great, but I try to figure it out on my own and I'm confused with all the ratios/grams/fats/carbs, etc etc.
Any help or off season advice would be much appreciated Thanks!

Hello, first I would recommend going easy on the celebrating. Don't over indulge in all the sweets, carbs and alcohol that you want because your body will go into shock and your tummy will get very upset. Don't think of it as on and off season. Think of the 12-16 weeks leading up to a show as "show prep" and the rest of the year when not prepping for a show as just living a healthy and fit lifestyle. :~D
