Brock is going to get pounded.. Overeem is a beast, amazing striker and not bad on the ground.. its going to be a very one sided fight... Or at least I hope..
Looks like a good card..

Game over!!!
Brock finished in 1st round. Vicious knees and kicks to the body put him down, then pounded on ground without Brock responding.
Hang it up Brock! Return to WWE!!!

Ya Brock said he was done, and should be. Fight of the night for me Nate Diaz vs. Donald Cerrone Liked Nate's boxing; he is one of my fav's.
"I know what your thinking. Did I fire 5 shots or did I fire 6 shots. You gotta ask yourself, Do you feel lucky? Well do ya, Punk?"

Lesnar never had a chance. Looked confused and overwhelmed.

It looked to me like Lesnar returned at Dana's request, to get some good PPV numbers and get eyes on Overeem. He looked like he had no interest in fighting, before ever getting in the ring. No fire, no intensity. The screaming and flexing bullshit looked like he was back in the WWE. I am a former wrestler, so I really like Brock. But he should have hung them up, instead of going out on such a lackluster bout. Nate Diaz, holy shit. He wrecked Cerrone.

Pretty disappointing night of fights for mine. Nam Phan didn't do nearly as well as I thought he was capable of, Hendricks caught Fitch with a punch he probably would have seen had he not been out for 11 months (it looked slow), Diaz/Cerrone was impressive on two counts 1) how good Diaz was in his standup and 2) the amount of shots Cerrone took. The main event was a fizzier, Brock needed to come out and take Overeem to the ground. Instead he stood with the K1 champ and saw what Overeem was capable of. Not good a good plan.
What's next for Overeem? Well JDS is a different beast to the rest. Has really good standup so it will be a really technical battle of standup I would think. I have a feeling the Reem will have enough to take care of JDS.
What's next for Diaz? Perhaps the winner of Henderson vs Edgar?
Whats next for Hendricks? I would like to see him against a Koscheck type next.

I wonder how much horse meat you have to eat to make your face and head grow like that. I couldn't care less about his PED use, he just knows how to get past those screens. I am interested to see him and JDS. He couldn't finish Werdum( I think, can't remember) and Werdum is several rungs below JDS as an overall fighter. Can't wait to see it.

Lesnar never even shot, he grabbed a leg a couple of times, but that is hardly a Lesnar quality shoot. I don't think he cared about winning at all. Sad really, he just wanted another payday. I knew he was done after the first knee to the gut.
Diaz is for real. Sometimes I wonder if him being a punk is more for show... Anyway, I would like to see him take on some contenders. Maynard, Melendez, Benson Henderson, Guida... See what he's really got.
WTH with Fitch???

So basically, Dana pulled a typical McMahon move. You have the new talent, and you need to "put him over", so you feed him the one of your stars on the downside of his career to make him credible.... well perhaps not quite. I don't think Lesnar would have beaten him in his "prime" anyway.
