Lifting Shoes
I know Chuck Taylors are the tried and true lifting sneakers. I lift in Adidas Samba which is a good one too. Anyone have any other favorites?

I always use something that keeps my feet very flat to the ground, almost as if I am not wearing shoes. I stay far away from anything that is raised at the back. When I have used shoes that are not flat in the past I have issues in my back and such shoes have resulted in disc issues..

Yea a lot of people don't put any thought into foot wear. The wrong pair of shoes can negatively effect the entire kinetic chain

The past year and still going on, I've been using Vibram Fivefingers.
I find them very comfy, and great for the heavy exercises lige deads and squats, because of the contact with the floor, that I get wearing them.

Those are nice. I bought a pair a while back for like $160, and now they have them online for $100. I bought my second pair, grey and black, with an additional 40% discount back during christmas time.
If you like the ground feel of Vibrams, but don't want to stick your toes into compartments, you should try Merrells glove shoes. They're made with the vibram soles, but just one compartment for your toes and I think look much better. Check some here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...pf_rd_i=507846

I thought they didn't make the Romaleos any more...I remember searching around the web for them about a year ago, but now they're available at certain places! Just bought a pair from Rogue Fitness. Now I have enough lifting shoes to be able to match what I'm wearing to the gym! Thanks for mentioning them

Those Vibrams probably start to fucking stink after a while. Do you just throw them in the wash with the rest of your clothes?
