    Default Quick Chewy Protein Bar

This homemade low carb protein bar only involves 3 ingredients and is quick and easy to make. It comes out chewy and delicious! I recommend storing them in the freezer because they do tend to get mushy when left out too long. This is a great quick snack or meal replacement protein bar you can have daily without ruining your diet!

    Ingredients:

    1 Scoop Chocolate Whey Protein
    2 Tbsp Peanut Butter
    2 Tbsp Coconut Milk

    Directions:

    1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl

    2. Form mixture into a rectangualr protein bar shape on wax paper

    3. Cover with another sheet of wax paper and stick in the fridge for about 2 hours

    4. Take out and enjoy!

no worries at all, I'm an ecto.... Actually, I had no milk either, never drink it. But some cooking cream was in the fridge so I used that. Now gotta play the waiting game...

gonna make another one, will probably want to eat another after the first. I'm going to make a few of those easy recipies and have my dad try them. Maybe I can fool him?

eating the non splenda bar now. Good, but would not fool your typical person who likes real baked sweets. But can't expect too much as the recipe is beyond simple. Wonder if adding cocoa powder would give it more of a taste.

If it came out bitter it's probably your protein powder that doesn't taste too great because none of the ingredients will make it bitter at all. Which protein do you use?

I just used normal milk. Consistency was good and the spoon tastes damn good so I am waiting for 2 hours until I can eat it.

On a side note I only had cookies and cream protein so that is the flavour i have used. We will see if it is still good..

Sounds great too! I wasn't sure how the almond milk would work since its lower in fat but I'll give it a go!
