1. You aren't going to see change in one day. That is like saying you took a shot of sustanon and said your endocrine system is broken because you didn't gain 10 lbs of muscle in one day. you need to be patient.
2. Don't eat ONLY pineapple! Just add some to your regular diet. It is high in the digestive enzyme bromalain, so it could help you digest the other carbs.

Ok, my bad. I gotta be more patient. I'll try adding say a ring of pineapple to my carbs and give it a couple weeks then?

I have same problem with oats. I get extremely gassy and bloated from them. I have found I can handle sweet potato, blueberries, grapefruit, carrots, ezekiel bread, and cream of wheat fine. My body just does not digest the oats correctly. I do high protein, low carbs, high fat for bulking. I'm hypoglycemic so my body doesn't handle alot of carbs or I start crashing.

what kind of waxy maize are you taking. It might make a huge difference. I can tell a difference between Dave's Carbolyze and ON glyco-maize and the Carbolyze is far superior to anything on the market. I've been taking it for 3 weeks and doing a scoop every morning and two in my post workout shake and I have no problem with bloat and gas. Having a high quality waxy maize that is micronized is the best way to go because it mixes easier and transports better

Another update:
Been a few weeks now and definitely seen an improvement with my carb bloating issues when having a little piece of pineapple (30g or so) with each carb meal. I'm still on pretty limited carbs daily, but seem to have less bloating. Also, I think oats really are a troublesome food for me. I seem to get on well with veg like peas, green beans, etc, plus lentils and sweet potato.
Im still not gaining any weight but to be honest ive got a pathetically small stomach, so I'm continuing to increase the fats and protein through shakes, olive oil, nuts etc to up my calories.

Man Ive never heard of so many ppl that cant take oatmeal, I live of oats and sweet taters!
But just shows you that just like any way to workout or diet it depends on the person and everyones different.

I believe you need fresh pineapple...canned pineapple i believe does not contain or barely any if that.'
so instead of oats...cream of rice might do ya better...does brown rice or rice general cause issues ?
like said before about fiber...getting used to high fiber or meals with large amounts...your body is just trying to move it out...it takes a good month i say to get ur tract intact..

Out of curiosity, all of you who say you have issues with carbs, have you gone low/zero carb in the past previous to you have carb issues?

Yeah I've been using fresh pineapple, not the canned stuff. I' have about 30-50g of it with any carbs I eat.
I haven't tried the cream of rice, but seem to get on alright with brown rice - white rice makes me gassy though.
I've always seemed to do alright with fibre in general, I mean I don't have any problem with fibrous veggies like broccoli, cabbage etc
