Trader Joe’s Chocolate Mousse Pumpkins

    Grade: A

These things are absolutely ridiculous. I was hesitant on grabbing them, but thank god I did. They are about 1” Thick, but they are chocolate cream filled pumpkin cookies and they have a mousse filling. Think about taking a moist chocolate cake and throwing it inside a pumpkin shaped cookie with layers of chocolate. These things are deadly good, and what is crazy these are only around 120 calories.

    Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Spice Cookies

The cookies are crispy and crunchy...and pack a lot of pumpkin spice flavor. In addition to fall spices, the cookies definitely have a yogurt pretzel quality, minus the salt. Good to have on hand when you're craving a little hit of pumpkin spice. Think about a yogurt coated pumpkin cookie, it just does not hav a whole lot of pumpkin spice going on. That's ok, but it still is a good cookie and worth the grab. These are small cookies, but delicious and very moist/soft.

Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Spice Granola Bark

The crunchy granola is made with oats, almonds, quinoa, cornflakes, pumpkin seeds, pumpkin purée, Vermont maple syrup, coconut oil, and pumpkin season spices. It’s pressed flat and baked, then generously spread with rich dark chocolate (66% cacao), and topped with maple-sea salt-seasoned pumpkin seeds. If you ever had Cowboy bark this stuff is just as good if not better if you are a pumpkin fan. The chocolate coating at the bottom is a very rich and dark chocolate. For dark chocolate lovers this is a must. The granola is loaded with flavor that has a sweet aspect from the maple syrup, and then the savory aspect of all the pumpkin spices. You are hit with a lot of different flavors, but it meshes together really well. Its amazing how these are in the stores and off the shelves in 2 weeks. I see why, they are huge sellers.

    Grade: A-

    White Fudge Covered Oreo’s

Plain and simple – its just an Oreo cookie getting dumped on with white chocolate. While it may seem basic, it can go very well with the sweet cream center. The Cookies are pretty darn thick, and pack a punch of flavor. The White chocolate goes very well with the chocolate shell to give you the best of both worlds if you like white chocolate. Just picture a regular oreo dunked in white chocolate and then hardended. . The rich taste of white chocolate/fudge, sweet and creamy, which then mixed with the bitter taste of the chocolate cookie and the super sweet creme filling. It was sort of like eating an inside-out Oreo cookie, to be honest. It seems like the cream filling is a bit shy compared to a regular oreo, but the outside coating makes up for it. A must grab, and for only 100 calories its nothing to complain about.

    Grade : A-

Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Spice Caramel Corn.

The caramel corn texture is exactly as you would expect it to be. Very crispy , crunchy, and packs a lot of flavor. The pumpkin spice flavor is there, but it is not very strong. It's sweet more than spicy, and slightly more caramel than pumpkin, I'd say. Pumpkin seeds add a nice nuttiness to the product and blend well with the salty aspects of the corn. If you like Caramel corn its hard to really pick up on the amount of pumpkin and pumpin spices in here. You really get more of the caramel corn aspect with minimal hints of pumpkin. Even those who are not huge pumpkin fans should enjoy this product. Needs more pumpkin IMO

    Trader Joe’s Pumpkin-y pumpkin bites

They taste like above-average pumpkin cookies. Lets not confused these with the Choolate/mouse layered pumpkin cookies though which were far superior. They're nice and soft, and the coating of brown sugar and spices on the top gives them just a hint of a firmer, almost crunchy texture. They combine the elements of pumpkin flakes, pumpkin puree, and pumpkin spices to give you a tri-fecta of flavors. These are good if you like very soft pumpkin bites, but could use some more flavor in each and every bite. Some of these tasted a bit stale in the flavor, which was a bit of a turnoff. They are not bad, but nothing to write home about. Worth a pickup

    Wheeling Casino Bakery:

Double Chocolate Chip & Blueberry Muffin:

This place literally has a full sized room based off just desserts. Roommate bought these for me. These were so moist, fresh, and melt in your mouth it was insane. The blueberries goosed in your mouth and the chocolate chips were melting biting into the muffins. The chocolate was so rich my head started to spin. Almost reminded me of straight dark chocolate. The amount of cinnamon sugar on the blueberry went perfect with the muffin. All in all these were solid. Maybe I was just starved after dieting for 6 months, but these were GOLD

    Peanut Butter Cupcake
Super moist, rich, and milk chocolate base loaded with a peanut butter filling, chocolate glaze, and a full reese peanut butter cup

Then its time for a little "play time" at a nearby farm to table joint thats pretty new and all the buzz around town with chef crafted locally sourced amazing foods.....best part of all.....I have a $100 gift card I won on Halloween to use there! Good eats for free.....hell yes!

They are probably gone if you waited this long bud... The pumpkin stuff is being replaced by peppermint.

Grabbed the Pumpkin Spice Glazed for today and picked up the cake / salted caramel latte donut.

Also Found the Oreo Bar at Walmart. Will get my review up by this weekend when I crack into it.

    Oreo Big Crunch Bar:

The outside is a very rich milk chocolate flavor. Combine that with a crunchy sweet cream & thick chocolate center. As the outside of the bar melts in your mouth, the texture of the center provides a thick compliment full of flavor. This creme is softer and more whipped than the traditional Oreo creme; it’s like an Oreo ganache or truffle . The chocolate cookie has a touch of a cocoa aftertaste, but it has the balance between a cookie and candy in texture. The bar may be 1000+ calories for the entire thing, but the flavor factor alone is worth the buy.

    Cliffs
    - Rich milk chocolate outside
    - Sweet Cream and Chocolate Crunchy Center very dense and thick
    - Absolutely delicious

Gelato Fiasco Truffles in River City
    http://theicecreaminformant.freeforu...les-river-city

For my first MGMT Pint I was happy. Was I blown away? Absolutely not, nor would I rank this a top 5 flavor off the line. For someone who is not a huge fruit fan I have to say this was a great flavor added for variety. The base was done very well, the creminess of the gelato was on point, but the mix-ins could of used work as far as being consistent. Gelato Fiasco is known for hit or miss pints with mix-ins. Sometimes you may get a ton, and for some you get nothing. My Wild Blueberry Maine virtually was a base with nothing added. Since the MGMT pack is heavy in babka, donuts, and other specialty desserts I am eager to see how these all rank. For a first experience good, but nothing that I would rush to rescoop.

    Gelato Fiasco The Goods

    http://theicecreaminformant.freeforu...o-fiasco-goods

Overall I was pleased. Usually I am not the biggest fruit fan, but enjoy it from time to time. Gelato Fiasco did a great job with the base, and also put together two good compliments to take this to another level. The Candied nuts were delicious, sugary, and luscious in each and every bite. The lack of chocolate chips took the score down, but it was a perfect addition to a banana gelato. I personally walked away from this one with a higher score then intended, but I am not going to complain. If you like chocolate and banana's this will be one for you. The sugary vibe from the candied nuts gave it the banana nut flavor with the added chocolate twist. All in all a good one!

    Gelato Fiasco's Supernatural Spirit Satisfaction

    http://theicecreaminformant.freeforu...t-satisfaction

Overall I enjoyed this, but whiskey or booze fiends may be left shortchanged. The milk chocolate base was middle of the road which will drop the overall score a few points. Gelato Fiasco is really on point with the mix-ins in the limited edition pints and did a good job. If they had the torched marshmallows found in the S'mores pint I think that would enhance this overall flavor. Another thing they could of done was a marshmallow swirl and focused on just chocolate covered almonds throughout. I think that would of made this a better pint. Overall good, not great, but still something I would recommend.

    Gelato Fiasco's Biddy Biddy Babka

    http://theicecreaminformant.freeforu...os-biddy-babka

Gelato Fiasco did a good job on being very consistent on this run of limited edition pints with their mix-ins and flavors. So far I have not been let down and each pint has been packed from top to bottom with pieces of cakes, truffles, and other mix-ins. The chocolate base may be nothing to ride home about, but the amount of babka really raised this pints grade. Crunchy, delicious, and laced with a chocolate filling left an unmatched chocolate combination. Think about a chocolate hershey bar and a chocolate cake loaded with chocolate chip pieces combined into a gelato. Job well done, if the base was a bit stronger I would of given this a top tier mark.

Gelato Fiasco's Doughing Me, Doughing You
    Grade: A-

the mix-ins are super consistent which has been an issue with me in the past. The base could of been better, but the texture and flavor of the mix-ins were a good match. Lots of flavor, lots of chewy goodness, and a good sweet cream base. If Gelato Fiasco stepped up the base this would be an A, but no complains on my end. For someone who loves brownies and cookie dough this really hit my sweet tooth.
