    Default Fat Gripz

I recently just started using these: http://www.fatgripz.com/ They are great! If you have been wondering how you can improve your forearm musculature and grip strength then look no further. Sounds like I'm making a sales pitch for the company but I'm not, I have no affiliation with them at all. Just tried the product for the last few workouts and am very impressed with the way they hammer the grip. It feels like 20lbs are added to the dumbbell when you use them. The drawback is of course shortchanging the muscle group you're working that day. For instance today was back day and I used them to start out with pull ups. Got maybe half the amount I can normally do. Then went on to barbell rows with 1 plate racked and my grip was slipping after only a few reps. So I've been thinking of ways of incorporating them into my routine without shafting other muscle groups. So far I've used them on chest/biceps day, some shoulders, and now back. Any ideas?

I just bought some too, but for a different purpose.

I have a multi-station gym with platform for dips, but the handles are pretty thin - about
the width of an olympic barbell, which puts a lot of pressure on my hands.
Having the fat gripz more evenly expands the weight over my hands, making the
    movement more comfortable.

I'm going to look to use them more for pressing movements than pulling ones, where as you said,
you may get less done on the area being worked. This will also include dumbbells.

They are awesome for pressing movements. I'll never do close grip bench without them.

Got a pair of bull iron true grips 2.0 I used them for the first time today on chest/bi's Great pump in forearms during bicep exercises. The tapered ends are great and the depressions in the grips are great for getting your fingers tips into. As a bonus i noticed during incline barbell and cable cross overs the grips helped distribute the weight in my hand more evenly than with the bar. There was less pressure on my wrist. I didn't like them for dumbbells presses but thats only because my gym had dumbbells with slighter thicker than normal handles so the tgrips made them too wide. overall a solid product.

Checked out the website. Those look very cool. I could see why you would like those over the Fat Gripz - particularly those grooves in the handle, and they have 3 different widths available. I woudl think the Fat Gripz are about the same width as the 2.0. Those 3.0's look like they could be for NBA player hands - those who can easily grip a basketball with one hand.

I have a pair of the Fat Gripz extreme. They are brutal. I have used them on dumbbells, machines, and a leverage hammer.

I noticed the pressing movements are easier with these. If I can figure out the spacing I will try deads with them.

Mine were just recently stolen. I'm so pissed. Guess I shouldn't have forgot them at the gym.
