Yes I know that, but it is odd that she can come up with the $200,000 in prize money but not the $2,500 for Robby. That's almost 1% of her budget (just including prize money) so it would seem guest posers fee would be a drop in the hat in comparison even to the exuberant meals she gave to media people etc.

I think one of the real stories is how she even paid for the things she did, but that may never be revealed. Aaron called the show the "Titanic in Miami" on the thread I posted Robby's side of the story when it came out, and that's a perfect description. At least the top-top athletes got paid, it's a shame they are screwing over some of the true legends though and guys like Tricky who are looking at the biggest payday of their lives not coming through.

Of course a con artist is going to have "proof", don't be so easily conned Aaron, if it wasn't a problem at all and she was so well resourced she could have went straight to an ATM and paid Robby the cash or why not a bank transfer it would have been so simple and easily proven. Why let it get this far unless there was some kind of a problem, even if it isn't as big as Robby is making out. I sure it's not as bad as John Romano (who I think is one of the most pessimistic people around) would like to believe but there is definitely a degree of wrong doing on Jarka's behalf.

I think it was pretty low for John and Lee to be so negative about you GF being pregnant. They honestly only focus on the negative of every topic. Interesting that Lee would say it is bad for you to have a child, yet on another episode he jokes about how he was telling his daughter's BF that if he didn't fuck her properly then he would, all jokes aside that is just a sick thing to say.

According to the interview Robby gave, he stated his bank advised there appeared to be no funds to cover the check. If he wanted to deposit it there would be a charge if it bounced. They further stated that it was a Chase Bank check and he may want to check with Chase for confirmation. He walked 5 blocks to Chase where they advised him that there were no funds in that checking account. He was then told to open a Paypal account, to get paid. When he did open the Paypal account it showed funds had been put in and then removed? While I don't think this points to the IFBB/NPC = Evil, it sure makes the promoter look shady at best.

I dont find this shocking to hear about Jarka. On HMR Dave speculated on Jarka following through on even having the show more than once. Dave knows more about her character than he's letting on, not too much of a surprise this is happening if you read between the lines of what Dave have said about her in the past.

I stopped listening to their show after a few months.

They just sound very bitter and reactionary in general

I mean we know the IFBB is certainly no democracy and has many dark corners

however

from what I listened to they don't offer many tangible solutions.

This thread seems to have gotten carried away. I was only concerned with a couple of true Legends getting paid for services rendered. On all accounts everyone agrees they haven't been paid. I'm sure it will be absolved in the near future. It was not intended to be an RX vs VPX or Dave and Chris vs John and Lee or Access Bodybuilding vs VPX Radio etc etc. I'm a little shocked that someone hasn't twisted it into a Jews vs African Americans debate..???
