Dip Tips?
I just started doing dips again *been about 3-4 years*
and I just can't seem to get my elbows in a fixed position angling back like i see many doing...i've never been able to do this.
i can only do them if i make elbows point outward. what is wrong with me? is my back too wide? my spine is a little crooked from injury and shitty posture ( I need a chiro!).
also i cannot do things like incline db curls or curl 2 db's at the same time unless with a hammer grip...feels like my lats are getting in the way and all the feeling goes in them instead of the targeted muscle group or my joints.
any advice..ill take it!
except on grammar!
thanks!Last edited by Friendly Milkshake; 03-23-2012 at 02:19 AM.

I got a sling shot for dips. My shoulder is wrecked after a kettle bell OH event a couple of years ago, it twisted on the last rep and I saved it, but it fucked up my AC joint. No dips at all until slingshot, keeps my elbows in and relieves pressure on the shoulder. Not $$$, and the inventor, Mark Bell, is on this site. Hope this helps.
