training over 40
Hi all, new here and new to bodybuilding(sort of) I was always into powerlifting, but as I got older my joints just arent holding up. Started using dumbells and Hammer Strength equipment, seems to be better for me now.
any advice and tips would be greatly appreciated.
little info on me. I will be 43 in August
I am 248 lbs. been doing a cyclic ketogenic diet for a month now lost about 15 lbs.
was thinking about using D-Asparic acid to help increase test levels, my doctor says my levels are not low enough to warrant HRT and I dont really want to go that route anyway.

Welcome to rx my man! There's is a ton of good info and lot of good bros here willing to help- you've come to the right place.
As far as the daa goes that's probably a great place to start. Go with 3.5grams per day and you you want consider taking some l-dopa with to mitigate prolactin. It also not a bad idea to take a methyl donor with daa- tmg, samE, or b-vitamins are all good choices.
