Boobs and the big wigs
I guess paying out the ass for school last year had its perks- Uncle Sam was good to me. I had already planned on getting a boob job later in the year but decided to move it up a few months given my tax refund.
I already have a doctor selected and am ironing out the final details. One question still looms overhead: what the hell do I tell my coworkers? I work for a big company but am not someone who gets lost in the crowds as I play a key role in operations. I am often in meetings and around higher ups who are very familiar with me. I have been with the company for almost 7 years so it is no secret that I am not blessed in the tit department (anymore- thanks, dieting...). SO I am a little nervous about taking off on a Tuesday night and coming back Monday with a new rack. Especially since I often have to present in meetings.
I know there are quite a few of you that have had this done so I am hoping you can share your experience with handling this! I may be over thinking it, but it's something that definitely concerns me. It won't deter me, but it may have me purchasing huge misshapen suits in the near future to camouflage my decolletage.

Before size? Expected after size? You're not going for freaky boob size are you?
i have worked with a few gals who got boob jobs done and there wasn't that much attention to them.Last edited by 78up; 02-14-2012 at 08:10 PM.

From a mans perspective.. I had a coworker get them done. I didn't even notice for about a week. Then I asked her (we were close) in private and she told me that yes she had had them done. To me it's all about how you dress yourself. I couldn't tell because our shirts were not low cut at all. Had there been serious cleavage, yea maybe people would have noticed more.

Well that's good to hear, I worry more about the men than the chicks. I have some pretty cool female coworkers.
Not going freaky big, I'm only 5'4" so I don't want to tip over. Used to be a c, so full c is ideal.

C is the best size in my eyes. Especially when getting them done, not so outrageous that everyone will instantly know. Although it may be obvious to some. It's debatable whether youre better off letting the cat out the bag first (or tetas out the bra ) but I think a c shouldn't be too distracting that people won't be able to look away. But new boobs+smokin hot girl=attention.

When I got mine done and went back to work I said nothing. Since people don't feel comfortable "asking" about them no one said anything and as time passed people forgot about it!

If its still winter, start wearing big baggy stuff ahead of time so it looks like just seaonally appropriate work attire. When you take a week off, you've already set the norm for what you wear. Then come back and continue wearing the same type of stuff and just act normal
As Gail said, people usually aren't tacky enough to make a big deal about it, and if you're sort of going back to a size you already were, its sort of less of a change. By the time spring comes, all you're doing is going from the big baggy stuff, to the nice summer clothes and they just look better. If someone asks you who you aren't comfortable sharing this sort of personal thing with, you can just say you finally spent the money on a better bra
Or get your hair done differently, so when someone says something like "Something about you looks different...", you can say "New hairdo!" LOL! Deflect & distract!

Thank you ladies! I guess a freezing office has its plus side; bundling up prior to and for some time after is definitely an option. As far as people not questioning I hope that will be the case. I don't want to have to put any teeth out. I mean, I don't want to have to answer that question.

If anyone asks, tell them you're bulking and it goes straight to your boobs.

Hey chica I had to chim in... being as I work in an environment similair to yours... accept.. Im the only gal of 75 men!!!! So It got noticed... and you will be asked if you had anything done... (shaking head) DUH ...My response was always does it matter if I did or didnt?? srsly you dont even need to ask that stupid Q... its obvious!
Now expect your size to be super perky and full for atleast a few months, mine settled at about 5... they were perfect then, since dieting they have shrunk... (yep its possible) I too went the whole "I want a nice rack that not the 1st thing you notice " Im 5-3ish and am a 34 C... some days they are very noticable.. others not so much. Anywho, dont worry about the first few weeks, let the looks come, be descrete with your wardrobe if you feel better, since its chilly out now, this would be a perfect time of yr to get them... huh... as a matter a fact I got mine in Feb a few yrs back.. perfect time to cover the goods!! Anywho... once its certainly no secret to your coworkers, show those beauties off in a fancy fitted biz shirt! You will feel amazing!!
PS I think u look Fab now.. but boobies are what you want.. GO FOR IT GIRL!!!
Mine came bc I was a lard ass once that dropped my D's and they really needed come constructing!! I FREAKIN LOVE THEM!!!
ENJOY ur KNOCKERS!!! ...... wait!!!!!! hold up... u have an amazing ass and now will have amazing tits to match... ugh I Hate you!

Totally agree with a lot of the posts. When I got mine done, I just kept them "low key" for quite a while with my work clothes. I didn't wear any padded bras and even sometimes wore my sports bra just to be sure they didn't stick out too much to my boss/co-workers right away. Like the one post said, if you're doing it in the winter and/or your office is cold...you should be golden! If you worked at a place where tank-tops were the uniform, I'd say you're outta luck LOL.
Best of luck to ya! You'll love em!

KrisLynn, Cristina, you ladies are awesome. Thanks for sharing! (How AA meeting does that sound?) But seriously, thanks. My one girlfriend who has them and still refuses to admit it just played dumb when I asked her.

alot of my clients knew, others didnt notice. i got mine in nov so winter clothes kept them under wraps. i think we assume they are so obvious, bc they are to us, but most people are not that observant.
