thats a bit sloppy for me bulking, when i bulk i dont go that high with the carbs because i end up bloated and puffy. but your protein looks good is the fat mostly good fat or animal fat. i would try and make it good fat and lower your carbs a bit, but its your choice if it works for you and you dont get fat good luck

I'm definitely ecto so the fat and carbs don't really get me fat. I am gaining slowly, my strength is up as well. The junk food mostly helps keep my sanity. I could probably cut some of the junk out and sub in some cottage cheese or something like that.
A lot of the fat comes from eggs. The rest is from the fish and grape seed oil used to bake the fish.
I do feel a little bloated most of the time. I don't think I've ever done a diet with lower carbs, maybe I'll try it sometime and see if I can still gain.

Wow that is A LOT of fat. I would just sub the soda/snickers for something clean and have a cheat 1-2x a week instead

There are two benefits for me eating them raw. It's fast and no cooking involved. I usually can't eat that many cooked eggs for some reason. Eating them raw I can actually eat a dozen at a time.
That would probably be a better option, I'll see if I can keep to it. As far as the high fat goes, I've been checking out buying frozen egg whites online. That would cut out a ton of fat with egg whites instead of whole eggs.

Instead of ordering online. Just go to Sams club if there is one near you and get your liquid egg whites. I usually alternate between liquid and actually cooking my eggs. Reason being when bulking you're adding a lot of extra cals and leaner bulking foods and you want to stretch out your stomach so you can get used to eating a TON of food. Some bloat comes with the territory, but you get used to it

If you are an ecto you may need more carbs and I would probably bring that protein down a bit.

i was doing lots of raw eggs for awhile..for its simplicity!
problem: sometimes all the eggs would come back up (puked them out)..i think digesting them sometimes doesnt work to well when there raw.

Yeah some of my numbers aren't right. A half cup of instant rice is actually 36 g carbs. I got all the specs off the Internet and some don't actually match up. I typed all this up on my phone.
I usually eat more than what's listed but this is the base I try to get in everyday. I usually eat more junk fOod than what is listed. On weekends we usually go out for sushi or steaks also.Last edited by 78up; 02-22-2012 at 08:05 PM.

I have subbed egg whites for one of my whole egg meals to bring the fat down a little. I am trying to eat more carbs.
On my first bulk,(prior to my neck injury) I was getting about 600 grams of carbs a day. It worked but really jacked up my metabolism to much. I was sweating a lot and always hot ( not sick just jacked up feeling ). So I decided to bring it down some. It probably is to low now. Maybe I'll add some more oatmeal or something else.Last edited by 78up; 02-22-2012 at 08:20 PM.

Keeping your fats high is alright, as the body needs a certain ammount of fats to produce hormones. Just try to make sure the fats you are taking in are good fats for the most part. Saturated fat in moderation is fine. Just going by your avi, im assuming you dont have a hard time staying lean. If thats te case I dont see a problem with adding in some pasta in place of the rice for some meals, to get the extra carbs/calories.

Pasta does sound like a good addition! I don't have problems staying lean. If I start getting to fat ill switch to all egg whites and increase the carbs. I will definitely be adding more carbs as I go. I'm gonna bulk for as long as I can.
I lift 5 days a week. No cardio, besides walking the dog.

I know my macros aren't typical ecto bulk, but I'm trying something different for awhile. Seems to be working for now.
