its all about drugs and genetics, no matter how many carbs and protein you force post workout you wont get any different results than a heavy juice user who waits 3 hours post workout to eat, plain and simple.

waxymaise is truly a blessing if you have a very fast metabolism, or for big guys who have fast metabolisms at least. I use 80-100 g carbs per shake about 4 times a day nowadays since I'm trying to gain muscle and it works great. good way to get the carbs in without bloat.

I still use it after every workout. Great source of quick carbs and never get stomach bloat or discomfort as I do with other products. Always recommend it to people who ask and feedback is always great on it.

The original claims of digestion time, absorption time, etc. was all based on a very specific form of waxy maize starch which is patented by Genr8 who makes Vitargo, their waxy maize product. Evidently nearly all other waxy maize products are varieties which digest much more slowly and are a far inferior carb source to many others (dextrose, malto, etc.). If I find the link I'll post it, but there were a few articles about it so it should come up in a search.
Also want to add, I personally had decent results with a few different waxy maize products - but i got the same or better results with plain corn starch as with most of the WMS. I prefer Dextrose, but for each their own

Hype, went through a phase, just like all supplements. Eventually, people realize that they do nothing. The best decision I ever made in my life was getting rid of all my supplements. Only supplement I still take is humapro because whey really upsets my stomach. Never once looked back and have never made progress this quickly. Food is more anabolic than any supplement on the market. Not to mention, I'm saving close to a few grand each year that I can now spend on food, drugs, and other things.*

my other theory is that people realized they could eat bagels and white bread and stuff and get better results..... but i could be wrong....maybe you should ask a distributor and get your advice from them....LMAO

PJ told me once that waxy maize studies were just pirated Karbolyn studies. Ive been using Karbolyn for almost 2 years and its worked real well for me. It gives me a zrazy insulin spike cuz i crash hard an hour later if I dont eat. Im carb sensative tho. I mix it with gatorade, whey, and glutamine pwo

Gatorade powder is what I use. I've used dextrose alone, waxy maize, karbolyn. Karbolyn is definitely superior for me as the others bloat me pretty noticibly. But Gatorade I've had zero problems with. I use it during the workout by the way.
