That'll teach me to predict these shows. I had JillianR winning this thing by far. Karina just seem to come out of nowhere. That said, Congrats to Ms. Nascimento. The First Women's Physique Pro Champion. Good way to make a comeback.
I also like to congratulate Marilena Echohawk for placing second. It's now obvious that her B Class win at TU was no fluke. She's gonna be a playa in this division.
And, Congratulations to all the ladies who participated. You all made history.
Still luv you, Jillian!!

Glad the season is ramping up again! Good physiques up there!
My only comment is on Bikini. Can we finally say those "standards" of v-shaped, half coverage bottoms are pretty much out the window. Every one of those suits would have been considered thong when bikini began. I'm sure most of us aren't complaining, but I have a feeling in 3 years, they will be at WABBA standards.

Kudos to the 212 guys who turned up and competed, but in all honesty the division at this body weight/prize money is not worth putting on. So much creating a platform to see the lighter bodybuilders being showcased if there's only a handful showing up?

Just a quick comment on WPD: if this show is an accurate depiction of what they are looking for in WPD, I'm concerned about the future of the division. I workout regularly at the same gym as Erin Stern and I can, without a doubt, say that she would currently be too lean and hard for WPD... Something is seriously wrong with that.
I actually think many of the top figure pros, in contest shape and flexing, would be considered to lean, hard, and possibly too muscular. That ain't right.Last edited by Aaron Singerman; 02-26-2012 at 01:11 AM.

You would think the opposite would be true. Softer for the figure and hard for the WPD. It is still inits infancy. Time will show us how it grows.

I agree with this - if the only difference is in posing & heels, then there's no point. I suspect it will continue to evolve. (I hope anyway). They have been saying they can only reward based on those who show up, but w/ the variety in background the different competitors come from, its inevitable that different looks will show up.
