IFBB drops the ball with Woman's Physique

IFBB better make up their damn mind of what they want from the Physique division...I thought it was suppose to be sorta like Woman's bodybuilding of the 80s yet we have girls winning who are no bigger then fitness competitors?

Compared to Tanji Johnson/Fitness

So what exactly do they want....girls smaller then fitness girls? I don't get it..

How DLB didn't place is beyond fucking me, way to drop the ball again...I can only imagine what first place "DID" to get her win.

Tanji Johnson should really consider switching over to WP.

Enjoy the show, buy an 8 X 10 of your favorite athlete, compare with your friends who you thought should have won.

its only the first show..and a smaller one...give it a few shows with diff looks to come out and see....one show doesnt set the mold. they did stick w the criteria. dana will win no problem if she softens up a bit for next time.

^Gotta agree with this. If Dana has already 'established the criteria' in her earlier show, and her only real issue according to the judging was being too conditioned, I have no doubt she'll come in spot on next time.

(and yes, I think the Judges are still figuring it out themselves as far as how far they want to go along the spectrum with this new category)

IFBB is making Women's Physique a cross between figure and bikini. It was supposed to be harder look than figure but the girls that were top 2 were softer than figure!!

Agreed. Everything that has been put forward has fostered the belief that IFBB Physique would be a hybrid of figure and bodybuilding...NOT halfway between bikini and figure.

Dissapointing at best.

I had high hopes for this division, but they were cut down with this show.

My picture of the WPD is a cross between Jillian and DLB. Somewhere right in the middle of the two.

DLB kicked ass and is the definition of not a bodybuilder but harder than figure and fitness. WTF do they want? I thought women's physique wasn't supposed to be like men's physique at all? in ranking of muscle and hardness it looks like the classes now go

Maybe it's the pictures, but I don't "get" the look they went for here. I think Isaac Hinds is onto something in saying that this could be a good look for WP.
