    Default Rocky Road Cran-Raspberry Protein Bars

    Well I wanted to share a recipe that I just tried last night and created my own homemade protein bars with ingredients that I had in my cupboard .

    Unfortunately I currently do not have the premixed Better Protein Bars,so I created the following and they turned out pretty damn tasty:

    6 scoops Whey to Build Muscle Rocky Road Protein
    1 cup Organic Oats (I like the crushed better than the whole)
    1/4 cup Freeze Dried Organic Raspberries
    1/4-1/2 cup Organic Dried Cranberries
    1/2 cup Organic Almond Slivers
    1 cup Organic Natural Fresh Ground Peanut Butter
    3/4 cup Natural Local Honey
    1/3 cup Water

    Mix the ingredients as you would Better Protein Bars (use your hands to mush together), I always wet my hands first so the mixture doesn't completely stick to them, and after it ia all mixed nicely press into a pan and put into the fridge...again NO BAKING! Let them set and cut into 12 barsTried one this morning and man are they pretty damn tasty, especially with the Rocky Road flavor protein!Try it and tell me what you think!!!

    I will calculate the macros when I get a chance and see how much each bar has and post it later...and even though this is an alternative, I still love the taste for the Original Peanut Butter Better Protein Bars...some ingredient in them just makes them addicting !!
