Daves Cardio Plan
I understand Dave's theory on fasted, low intensity cardio but after perusing through this site I have have trouble finding what he recommends to start with? How many days a week? How much? How much to increase each week? When do you add days? When do you split into two secessions? I found a post that claims 5 days a week at 30 minutes a day, and increase 10 minute a week? I understand a lot is by look and what else is going on, but what is the generic starting point.
thank you for anybodies help with thisLast edited by GDavis; 03-11-2012 at 05:21 PM.

I would start 20 min a day 7 days a week. When you stop loosing fat then bump it up.

I wouldn't do more than an hour in one sitting. If fat loss stops try 2 45 min sessions.

So he recommends starting with 7 days a week card? THat seems like it does not leave a lot of room to manipulate? So once weight loss slows you up it 10 minutes a week?

You may want to look into hiring Dave or PJ to help you. I hired PJ and it's easy just do whatever he tells me to do and the fat is melting off. I will say the first two weeks I did no cardio and lost about 8lbs.

You will loose 8-12lbs of crap first two weeks then after that no more than 2lbs a week or you'll loose muscle.

Yeah and it doesn't take individual body types/metabolism into consideration. I mean if I did cardio 7 days a week, even if it was only twenty minutes a session, I'd be so stringy in like two weeks. I have to be careful with cardio frequency as my body is super responsive to it and causes me to drop weight and muscle fullness alarmingly fast.

20 min 7 days a week is nothing. I am doing 30 min 7 days a week in the offseason. You can push cardio as high as 2+ hours LISS each day split into 2-3 sessions. It all depends on what your goals are and your bodytype. Most people wont advise HIIT while on keto but it could be done if need be especially if you are on gear.
