A friend of mine was giving me shit over using lifting straps. I'm not risking tearing a bicep just to prove I can grip the bar! Besides he uses all the lifting gear, bench shirt, super suit etc!

I hit rock bottom on these, my legs are still a little sore from Monday. I didn't time the pause but it was a definite stop at the bottom and my hamstrings were flattened out against my calves.

Geez, I have been sick as a dog for this past week! Turns out I had type B flu virus. I went back to work today, pretty much feeling like myself again.
my Kentucky Wildcats made a hell of a run at the national championship last night. They just ran out of gas in the end, not too bad for a bunch of 18 year olds!
I went to to the gym this evening and knocked out one of my default Max Ot workouts. Felt great to push some iron, my bdwt is down 10lbs from a week ago! Still trying to get my appetite back!
