Need some advice
OK so this is my first ever post in any forum . But here it goes. I have been working out and eating healthy and clean for over 3 years. At first it was because I wanted to look good and so on, so I did all my research and become absorbed into a fitness lifestyle. I pushed myslef hard for so long but still was not seeing the results I wanted. which was to look like those men cover models. I use to be overweight although if you were to see me you would not know it yoiu would say oh your skinny and you have a high metabolism bullshit. Anyway so after being tired of not having a real goal and feeling sooooooo stuck in my routine I decided to commit myself to doing mens physique later this year in oct. because for once I want a reason to try and have MY ideal body.
all that being said I have been reading these forums a lot and trying to put it all together again. I am kinda combining dave's and chris's philosohpys on nutrition more so with dave's higher fats, (so far these past 2 weeks I feel better) but still keeping carbs mainly around the workout time. Right now Im currently lifting M-f with a body part a day spilt. typical push, pull, push, legs, arms. I do not feel overtrained but I know how important rest is. My current plan is to "lean" bulk until about mid august then start a steady cut until oct. My problem is listening to the radio shows and reading there advice I get all confused about am I going catabolic or am I not doing this right and should I be taking this. So I am just looking for some advice form others on how they approach training and supplemnts during a "bulk" phase then "cutting" phase

If you don't want to dish out the money for a personal trainer than I suggest you stick with ONE way of training and diet for at least 8 weeks before changing it up. The honey moon phase can be very deceiving.

its difficult starting to train without a guided plan to follow particularly in the first month. You may be thinking you’re doing the right amount of exercise and working correctly on your nutrition but don’t be sorry if you don’t get the results..rather than flicking across forums get talking to a trainer who can evaluate your body mass and muscle strength and help you get on with good workout regimen.

Yeah, need a personal teacher for the exercise, which have experience in this field.
