They played for a national championship with Colt McCoy at qb so that was a pretty good team. They haven't had a good qb since Colt though. They fought several other schools to get Garret Gilbert and it turned out he wasn't very good so they weren't left with much.Hell Johnny Manziel wanted to go there and they didn't think he could play qb at that level.Told him he could come in as a db.

Do you really see Manziel being good in the NFL? Serious question.

Run first qbs just don't make it in the NFL.Mike Vick was going to revolutionize the position and a dozen years later meh.Remember when the 49ers cut Alex Smith because they had Colin Kapernick.Three yrs later I bet they wish they had Smith back.I know Rodgers and Luck are great runners but they throw first and run to set up the throw and pretty much run for yardage last. All that being said I really like Manziel. He's cocky but he is one tough little bastard.I saw every game he played in college,Like I'm sure Gdawg did,and the guy is a winner.Watch the Duke game he played in his last game and he just willed his team to a win.I just don't know if he has the tools needed to play in the NFL.He's an East Texas boy like myself so I will be pulling for him.

I watched them all also Cook. The speed of the NFL is rediculous, and plus their bodies can't hold up to the punnishment week in and week out in the NFL.
As bad as I hate Tearbow, I wanted the guy to make it because he was a throwback type of player.
It is a man's game when you turn pro.
I read the other day where if you are a high school footbal player you have .03% chance of playing in the NFL.DON'T BE AVERAGE!!!

Yeah a few of them have success for awhile.Kapernick looked good at first but these defensive cooridinators stay up all night drinking coffee and coming up with ways to stop them.I personally think Wilson is about to start having a hard time.He is really bad for extended periods of time and seems to hit a big pass at the right time and all of a sudden he's great. We will see if he can keep this up.

I agree completely. If you look at Russell Wilson and Drew Brees in college they look very similar in style of play and stature(people often forget how much Brees ran the ball). I am not sure Wilson has the arm that Brees has, but He could become a pass guy through three progressions before using his feet. They face similar difficulties with vision being impared by the offensive line, and Wilson has to answer like Brees and shift in the pocket to find lanes that are open for a split scond.
DON'T BE AVERAGE!!!
